Poker Players Alliance published a U.S map showing which congress members were friendly to Poker Players rights, and what was the voting record of voting.  Given many people don’t even knows the rules to many of the games is clear demonstration you can learn skill in all forms of poker.   Luck does play a significant role particularly in No Limit holdem; but, more complex games like 7 card stud limit holdem is a clear game where skill matters.  Forms of poker should be allowed with regulation to ensure safe fun and opportunity for the most people possible.   People can reap the benefits of technology if we work together to handle the hard problems.  Problems tend to occur on the edges of a society and initiatives led by intelligent people are working.  Government needs to address fraud in internet poker, and help protect people they serve.  How cools is this new polling product below available through www.Wordpress.com

The FTC made several recommendations as part of its report to stop marketing junk food to kids:

–Media and entertainment companies should limit the licensing of characters to healthier foods and drinks.

–Schools should adopt meaningful nutrition standards for the foods that are sold there, and companies should cease all in-school promotion of products that don’t meet such standards.

–Companies that market food and drinks to children should expand public-outreach efforts to educate children about the importance of healthy eating and exercise, with particular attention aimed at minority populations that are disproportionately affected by childhood obesity.

The commission noted that its review came during a year in which food and beverage companies had committed to curtailing the marketing of unhealthy products. For example, it noted that 13 companies representing more than two-thirds of advertising spending directed toward children had pledged to not direct their ads to children under 12 — unless the foods met specific nutritional standards.
