ONTY small cap bio-technology cancer drug company looks very promising

ONTY  has partnered with MERCK, and the stock has a very low market cap comparatively speaking to other bio tech plays.  The stock should go much higher over the coming years.  Merck recently expanded the drug trial showing confidence in the current phase three trial.

FEED and VAR new stock picks

FEED – is a good growth story related to China.  Stock has been consolidating, and could move much higher.  Catchy name stock, China related growth, and consolidated stock price pattern all good reasons the stock to trade higher in my opinion.

VAR –  is the producer of a product for treating cancer with direct radiation beams. Incredible peace of technology for treating cancer.  Good results recently published.  Definitely makes this stock a candidate for take over bid at a higher price. Rumor of take over bid in media stated reason for stocks recent rise in price.

Stock market crashes, and links. Will the market rebound?

Stock market looks poised to crash again December 12th as a $50 billion dollar ponzi scheme is exposed.  Jim Cramer has called out the Securities and Exchange Commision for failing to enforce the law, failing to stop market manipulation and conspiracy by hedge funds out of control.   The markets unfriendly nature is driving money out of the market and keeping participation low.   The job picture is also getting worse with jobless claims hitting a 17 year high for unemployment benefits filed in a single week at 577,000 new applications.

Stock market crashed 444 points November 20th 2008 to Dow 7500 today, and looks poised to go lower as the market rarely bottoms on a Thursday.   Markets typically bottom on Monday morning.   Dow 6800 stands out in my mind as a low from the early 1990’s.  I believe that more accurately compares to the economic uncertainty facing the world going forward.  Jobless claims hit a 16 year high.  Possible even lower if any major unexpected   To be honest with the continued destruction of jobs around the world; complete disregard for balancing the budget or impossible task, and environmental concerns of the world it is hard to believe that change will not occur.  Karl Marx the socialist recognized as one the great minds of Economic study predicted capitalism would come to an end as the capitalist systems fails to be able to meet the worlds needs.

This types of thinking typically occurs along side of great fear in people at the bottom of capitalist markets; but, this time may be different.  Technology advancements have allowed us to do so much more with so much less.  The work of one hundred men can be done by one man in many areas of business.  So clearly a more responsible society would disregard or accommodate business’s that continue to allow us to raise standards of life while achieving sustainability with the environment.  In order  not destroy the planet for future generations.  Many corporations across a wide spectrum of industries are closing up shop or will in the next twelve month’s due to negative margins and a negative market out look.

October 10th 2008 comments – Why does the market crash every day? The market can go to zero.  If people  want the money, and the system becomes insolvent.  Stocks can go much lower.  Cities ask when will the credit markets reopen for city bonds.  That is laughable in a way.  Why would someone buy debt in a system that is capital isolated, and losing money increasingly as far as the eye can see?  Stocks that make profits should hold Steady here.  IBM looks way undervalued.  I like Buy IBM at any price, even though,  all stocks go down in a bear market.  With a few exceptions.  Government can step in and manage stock assets in ways that business has failed to do or better align interests in ways that make more sense.  The American government has proposed taking a 79% ownership in the new AIG corporation.   Other than the $440,000 part executives threw to celebrate the recent loans.  Topstockblog see the moves as halfway sensible  with the government ownership.   Why do we have to pay for houses forever?  We don’t.  Why doesn’t George send checks to all Americans.  He has authorization to sign the checks.  A most diversified society is the best one.  That is the American dream.  What are constitutional signers agreed to value above, and beyond greed.

(Original June 6th 2008 post) The  U.S. stock market crashed nearly 400 points today http://www.yahoo.com/s/895280  (Friday June 6th. 2008).   The largest increase in jobless claims increase in 22 years, and oil per barrel rising $10 in a single day.  Given the large amount of the increase in oil today, and over the last year oil is probably going much higher.

The stock market was up 200 points yesterday.  Some people had become more bullish on the market going forward with Carl Ichann a major investor reiterating his wish to sell yahoo at a premium of $32.  Interestingly Carl seemed to think $32 was a fair price in part because of the effects of inflation in the future making the premium of $32 a fair price.  Some investors jumped at his latest comments that sent the market up 200 points were now caught long.  The market always is challenging.  Historically the market is very volatile with inflation in the water.

The Kirk report http://www.thekirkreport.com/    talks about the likely hood of further weakness.  The bottom that many hoped was set in March is probably not the bottom.   With so much trouble in the world and major support being broken putting big doubts in the theory.     I expect more investors piling into oil and out of stocks Monday.  I think the low could be set Monday if the sell off is big enough or some time in the next couple of weeks.

Salt Water Irrigation Farming solving global warming problem

Salt Water Irrigation Farming Solving Global Warming Problem.

Intelligent pioneers have found Salt water can be irrigated onto dry desert land to produce food; shrimp is an example of a well suited crop. I hope they grow  some lobsters!  Successfully producing a variety of positive effects on the local economy and more broadly the world economy.  Truly an amazing development.  With cooperation, peace, and hard work many people will have a brighter future.  I learned about the development on cable television.  MSNBC covered the Irigation Counteracts Global Warming.  This is a major development with exponential growth opportunities in the world expected as thousands of new acres  are farmed.  Much of the new trend is taking place in Mexico. http://www.celsias.com/article/seawater-farming-solution-rising-sea-levels-food-a/  Press coverage is sure to pick up on this development.

Looking To Get Back in the Stock Market?

Looking To Get Back in The Stock Market?   Be careful, and make a plan.

Tough choice,  (November 26th 2008)   Market trends seem to be ever changing.  I have put a buy list together.  This is a good starting point.  Fundamentals change quickly.  My Buy list targets include MDR, MTW, CME, CHAIN, YGE, Yingle Solar has been beaten up with declining margins; but, supported by locked in government contracts.  CME has took a recent dive as the market has perged so many hedge fund investors that have left the market for one reason or another.  Chicago Mercantile Exchange has strong earnings, and has a great business hosting futures trading.   New government legislation bringing in new traders with a is essentially the market maker.  I am sure CME can make profitable margins, and should continue to focus on consolidating markets while creating a participant conscious market.  I took GOOG off my buy list because of declining margins and fear of declining numbers across industry players.  Last month Google was a favorite. Best hope some new model that better reconizes Google value to the world. Citi Bank looks to have a big upside potential and only $7 left until zero. I hope have a really good chance of making money over the long run.

You can make a fortune buying and selling at the extremes of this market  is a comment from the Kirk Report.

(Ocotober 31, 2008) I am staying out of investing at least until the new year. Very excited about locking in my first year of tradig profits.  In addition to a recent removal of an adrenal gland in the wrong place makes me understand stock trading is not for myself.  I still like to watch, and reflect on the market developments.   The biggest thing I learned is to lower my expectation and limit how much I watch the market.  Be patient, and wait for stocks to move into your target buy or sell range.  Keep hard work, experience, and sense of humor on your side.  The market still has life to it.
Traders  moving the market when it goes higher, and over exuberance relentlessly leaves profit on the short side.  Investors are buying long term here and some are selling.  Green Span comments early in 2008 on U.S economy did put our economy exposed to high oil prices.

(November 26th 2008)

(October 31st 2008 list)

GOOG – is gaining market share today, and offering value.  GOOG price multiple for years after 2010 are too low.  Goog seems to ad value and create opportunity.  Risks remain in slowing trends in advertising budgets.

CROX – look likes  dicey here;  over sold and has a large short position.  I don’t see Crox as a fad and earning are strong.  Crox is trading at a price you could make 10X your money in a few years if things go Crox’s way.  The quality absorbing plastic shoes are nice; the hard plastic shoes should be faded out.  Sure inventories may be high; but, that seems to be a strategy from beginning of the trend.  Sending piles of Crox slippers to retailers to boost consumer confidence in the style of Crox

MDR – looks like a takeover candidate, value play, strong infrastructure company with buyers

YGE –  Solar pricing should be strong with government assistance; but, depressive oil prices could be diffucult.   Reasonable priced growth stock.

COF – The recent injections of cash should boost earnings in 2009.  Further weakness in consumer credit debt is expected with the relief valve of the government cash COF may be a worthy investment.

Stock trading system using 50 day moving average supports, strong stocks, and market trends

Trend following trading system   Overview

Make money buying, and selling stocks using a trading system that relies on pre-planned trading rules.  The rules are designed to take advantage of fundamental analysis, money management, technical analysis, and the regular development of trends in the world.

I created this trading system which was inspired by The Original Turtle’s commodity trading system. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=928713    I have tried to creat a system that is adjustable to meet many individual needs, and minimal time commitments.

Buys and sells are based largely on stocks chosen to watch crossing the simple 50 day moving average (DMVA), and the simple 20 day moving average.  These entries are to be made into a set list of stocks following the rules to avoid making emotional trading decisions.

  Portfolio selection rules

The system is to focus on the best growth stocks in the market.  Additionally stocks to short sell can be focused on singling out the worst stocks that can be short sold.   Focussing on stocks with the worst forward looking future to be part of the bearish group to be short sold.

After identifying bull and bear stocks watch you must decide how many stock you want to attempt to manage.  You should look too the time you want to devote group size should be based on experience, time to dedicate, capital available, and personal judgment.  Groups can be selected by one’s self or using a reliable source to cater to one’s experience or lack thereof, and personal choice.   Stocks should normally have a two to one ratio of bullish stocks to bearish stocks to reflect the overall concept that stocks move higher over time.  I suggest starting the system with 4-12 stocks in the bullish group, and 2-6 stocks in the bearish group.

The two groups should be reexamined, and updated every week end, or ever month or year depending on ones choice.  Stocks should be added or removed because of developing trends in industries, changes in technology, changes in leadership,  population demographic changes, politics, natural resource developments, natural disasters, wars, politics, and forward looking changes in revenues and or earnings can lead to trends. A stock can be removed from the list at this time if quantifiable factual evidence exists that may cause a trend to end, or in an attempt to find better opportunities.

A stock should only be removed if no open position in the stock exists.

Groups’ sizes should be reduced if the current group is proving too hard to manage.  Or the group size should be increased if one has been successful with the current group size, and feels it would be beneficial to add more stocks.

Rules

  1. Use a set list of stocks.
  2. Determine all simple 50 and 20 day moving averages for all of the chosen stocks on a daily, weekly, or  monthly basis.   These averages will be used set up trades to be executed.  Also determine all value entry prices.
  3. Buy a unit of a bullish stock at or above the 50DMVA, plus at or below the 20DMVA.  A position should be initiated at the open on the first business day a stock has been added to the bullish group and meets these parameters.
  4. Buy a unit of a bullish stock previously added to the bullish group when it crosses the 50DMVA on an intra-day move from below the 50DMVA.
  5. Buy a unit of a bullish stock previously included in the bullish group when it is above the 50DMVA + above the 20DMVA then retraces to hit the 20DMVA on an intra-day move.
  6. For all trades initiated, a second unit should be added at the open two business days later as long as the security has not triggered a sell. If a sell is triggered the trade is done.
  7. If a stock gaps higher or lower breaking through an entry price, still go forward with the trade at the open as long as the gap does not void the trade by reaching the exit point before entry.
  8. Sell all units of a stock when a daily close below the 50DMVA occurs for bullish units. All units should be sold at the open the following business day.
  9. Short sell a bearish group stock at or below the 50DMVA plus no more than 10% below the 50DMVA.  A position should be initiated at the open on the first business day a security has been added to the bearish group and meets the above parameters.
  10. Short sell a unit of a stock previously added to the bearish stock group when it crosses from above to below the 50DMVA on an intraday price move.
  11. Short sell a unit of a stock when previously added bearish group stock had been below the 50DMVA and below the 20DMVA and retraces to hit the 20DMVA on an intra-day move.
  12. Close out all short sold units of a bearish stock at the first daily close above the 50 DMVA at the open the following business day.
  13. Value entry – buy a unit of a bullish stock when it reaches a value 20% below its 50DMVA.
  14. Value entry – short sell a unit in a bearish stock when it reaches 10% above its 50DMVA.
  15. Exit all units of a value entry stock at the open following a day when a closing price reaches an average loss of 8% or higher on the trade.
  16.  Do not buy any stocks below the 200DMVA. (added rule after seeing recent bear trend, and listening to other successful trader that employs this rule with success.

Risk reducing strategies

A portfolio should own no more than two stocks from a specific subsector (i.e. computer hardware) in one direction at any given time. No more than four stocks should be owned at any given time in the same direction that is highly correlated (i.e. oil corporations).

The system uses moving averages as a technical indicator to buy stocks when others are likely to also be buying, and sell quickly when the stock has lost this technical indicator advantage.   The system focuses on only the best opportunities in an attempt to maximize returns, and minimize the down side risk of any position.

Unit size

Everything can be scaled down to the point of functioning even if that means investing in one or two stocks.  Adjust the units to no more than 30% of portfolio if possible. Use a single unit strategy rather than buying two units reduce commission charges.  Also, reduce the number of stocks in the focus groups to those with best chances to trend well.  One could just invest in bullish group stocks to avoid paying margin interest that may be associated with shorting stocks, and take advantage of the principal that stocks tend to move higher over time. Stocks move higher over time because of retained earnings, stock repurchases, accumulated assets, increases in productivity and advances in technology.  One should consider only investing in stocks that have been recommended by a pre-determined reliable source if they have a lack of experience, time to dedicate, and or comfort with making stocks selections.

For a higher net worth portfolio

A suggestion would be to use under five percent of a portfolio in an individual trade.  Units are to be figured by taking the total dollar value of the portfolio multiplied by the percent determined for a unit.  The unit is to be recalculated every weekend.   The stock must be liquid enough to not have the trades materially affect long term results. Exits can be done in two unit sales on the day a sale is called for if the position size is hard to liquidate in one sale.

   Final Thoughts

Stocks make a good opportunity for this trend following system to be financially successful.  This trend following trading system is for your education and or entertainment purposes. This system can be tailored to meet your own ideas, time frames, trading tools, and any other special needs. Business conditions are always changing, creating an ideal situation for trends to develop routinely.  Many trades will have a whipsaw effect because sells will often be triggered shortly after you have purchased. This system is designed to preserve capital, minimize risk, and make the vast majority of profits in a small number of trades that trend much farther.   Most of the work for the system is to done on the weekend and outside stock operating hours.

Expanding Statistical analysis of the world’s details a good idea.

The ability to better analysis details and long term effects objectively would be helpful to the future development of the world. The world has come so far in developing the success, and progress on a number of measurable levels.  Statisitics is the study of numbers and out comes of events. Statistics of so many areas need to be continually measured and even expanded in areas like government, science, law, security, education, and quality of life.  With accurate and reliable statistics one can make better judgement.    All of the world is near access to food, shelter, caring, and some prosper.  We should cherish what we have, and look to better understand statistics of mathematics to continue in that direction.   In an effort to fight fraud, preserve integrity, and do our best.

Stock Market direction?

Article created 2/08/08; updated -7/11/08, – 7/12/08, – 11/08/08.
(11/08/08) Market direction appears unpredictable, and future decisions still have there role to play in the direction of the market.  Value stocks are offering safety and opportunity for higher valuation in future years.  Tech stocks, auto, hardware, housing, credit, and other groups still look avoidable in my opinon.  The recent consumer trend of spending less, is hurting many businesses + people; but,  I think a little less greed will be beneficial to all.

(7/11/08) Topstockblog still believes a lot of negatives for the stock market will develop over the coming years; but, selective stocks, and even indexes may be headed higher short term or maybe a few regional banks going bad could push stocks down for years to come. The retirement obligations could become more of a burden on the U.S. economy. Technological development , and innovation are key to maintaining, building, and living a in a successful economy.
Recognizing more can be done with less in the future is a part of the solution. To the point the stock market, bank loans, and other wealth/debt instruments add value to society they should be embraced. We just don’t want to get caught wasting resources that repeat the last fire ball on the earth. I would guess fires can more diffucult to deal with than imagined. Wealth maintainanance is a function of a developed economy. The world economy can be good for most people with careful judgement. need to bankrupted or a war breaks out before bottom. Maybe that market goes to zero. No one can see the future; but, we can try to predict it. )

(Originall article from February 12th, 2008) Many stocks are at attractive prices giving good technical patterns to be bullish about.   They have retraced nicely to value entries, and many see the second half of the year improving.  I read GM’s earnings and was most disturbed by the fact that one in ten of its mortgage holders is late on their home mortgage. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aJh9qdhjgm_4&refer=news   I feel the bottom line is profitable banking business is over.  America has reached a point where expenses just to support a home are much higher than in previous years.  Combined with a tight labor market and past easy credit.  Write offs are going to be part of the future for banking.   I am looking at shorting BAC because I know they seem to have been aggressive and greedy with customers.   They took over many banks and I’m am sure have a higher than expected number of bad debts on the books.

Yahoo losing market share, and likely to continue to trade lower,

Yahoo has recently over played it’s hand in negotiations with rivals Google, and Microsoft.  Yahoo continues to under deliver content to users, and adept to market trends.  Everything Yahoo does; Google or someone else does better. In a shaky economy even Googles valuation at 15 times earning seems rational. Yahoo valued over 25 times earnings would be well served to sell at any price; sooner than later in my opinion to promote shaeholders interest.  I do continue to use Yahoo as my home page; Ironically.

800 Charity Cars Organization gives automobiles to struggling families

Check out Charity cars website at  1-800- charity cars organization.    800 Charity Cars Organization  accepts donated vehicles. Offering free Towing service nation wide.  Then distributes those cars to families in need.  Donors gain a tax deduction of the full market value of the car or vehicle, and help others’.   Charity cars helps many people through non-profit organizations like the Working Poor and Battered Women to name a few.   Charity cars is not accepting applications for free cars in 2009 due to the heavy demand of current obligations.  I bought a car through a charity auto dealership that was set up to help tigers.  It was a great experience because I was able to buy more vehicle than I would have other wise and be part of something nice.

Car Buying Tips,

Buying a car is often a painless experience for most people; but, that often leads to paying too much for a vehicle.  Leaving too much pain down the road.  Planning ahead is often a good way to go about purchasing a vehicle.  Take careful valuation of your goals, and then make a plan.  Use the telephone, and internet to find what you are looking for at an affordable price.   Get access to your credit report, and take care of your credit concerns.

As a former Car Sales man I enjoyed reading Yahoo Auto’s car buying  tips.   The tips are well written and helpful to learning about the car buying process to save money.

Funny Story; Hedge Fund Manager Points finger at Aristocracy as he quits.

“The low-hanging fruit, ie idiots whose parents paid for prep school, Yale and then the Harvard MBA, was there for the taking,” he wrote. “These people who were (often) truly not worthy of the education they received (or supposedly received) rose to the top of companies such as AIG, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and all levels of our government,”  Andrew Lahde said.

“All of this behaviour supporting the aristocracy only ended up making it easier for me to find people stupid enough to take the other side of my trades. God bless America.”  Funny Stories really make my days better.  I just wanted to share;  Full Article found below originally published in the Guardian UK news paper.

I found the article at delicous.com a grass roots website support tool used to help move around mainstream media greed.  Delicous allows readers to bookmark cool  stories read on the internet to help share with others.  Sadly Arsitocrats are traditionally a slave owning society that rule over society through internal influence in government and business.

Why The Japanese Yen will continue to appreciate; Buyers!!

In a market with few opportunities; nothing looks more safe than the Yen a currency with assets, and limited liabilities.  Certainly a rare find and buyers of large sizes particularly Eastern Interests will likely undermine The United States currency given current challenging economic climate.

Tokyo’s NIkea is at a 26 year low.

Finally a town stands up for Central American illegal immigrants! God bless you!!

Town stands up for illegal immigrants who were kidnapped and beaten badly.  I am very greatful for these couragous human being who defended human rights of others.

“Many of the more than 60 people inside later said they had been picked up by police, who turned them over to kidnappers. They were then crammed into the house, robbed of their money and belongings and forced to strip off their clothes.

Evis Casco, a Honduran, said he saw the kidnappers pay a police officer $100 for him. He said his captors stabbed his hand repeatedly as they demanded telephone numbers of family members in the U.S. and Central America.”   Many of the migrants are burned to get money out of relatives in central America or the United States or tortured.  Four officers were charged with kidnapping.  So many causes and concerns that governments and people can address that would make the world a nicer place.

Review of the Kelly Pavlik v.s Bernard Hopkins Fight.

Bernard Hopkins the bigger fighter dominated Kelly Pavlick who moved up in weight class.  HBO Boxing  covered a replay of the boxing event played the previous week on Pay Per view. .  Kelly Pavlik’s camp sported the gear of the Youngstown Ohio Police Deparment.  Bernard Hopkins spent many years in prison.   Bernard expressed to Kelly after the fight that he was a real dude with respect and love for others.   Well said Bernard!   I still have a great deal of respect for both fighters.   Bernard is a special fighter, and fought a brilliant fight winning a twelve round decision.   Bernard employed a strategy of back tracking and then sliding off to the left and right side.   Then holding his ground and landing well place hard rights that many say is the future fight defense for fighting Kelly Pavlik.   Kelly looked awkward; styles can frustrate any one.   We all have been out classed or placed in diffucult situations in life.

Apple has long been a leader in innovative technology.  AAPL stock has traded much higher prices in the past, and probably will retest those highs around $200 at some point in the future.  Great investments are made at times of weakness into corporations that should be part of the solution.   Apple has great capacity to improve people’s lives around the world in a sustainable way.  I-phones are a revolutionary cell phone that is a great resource to owners.  Offering all the features of a phone, music player, and small personal assistant.  Including access to the Internet.  The idea that schools would cut payments to buy computers over payments to retired teachers , and law enforcement is pathetic in Topstockblog’s opinion.  Particularly to retirees’ with new jobs, and large savings.  Wake up America!  Make sure all children have access to technology.   Profit measures are inappropriate over relied on when valuing corporations like AAPL who have the ability to build a much better world.

Mortgage Solution for the United States

Mortgage Solution for the United States

Mortgage problems should be in part fixed with passive permanent grants.  Both local and federal grants should be made available to those that want help. Grants are not new, and have been tailored to meet challenges of our country in the past.   A grant program dedicated too homeowners that want help, and need help would have a positive multiplying effect on the entire nation, and world.  Changes in infrastructure needs, debt levels, population demographics, and sustainability all contribute to the need for more government grants.

Vermont a leader in progressive ideas has used a small scale passive permanent homeowner grant in selected environmentally considerate multiunit complexes to the benefit of all Vermonters.  Vermont requires those who want to apply to the program to take a financial education workshop, and also helps people straighten out past credit issues. Vermont is one of only two states in the nation to sustain housing prices in the last year.  The grant would stay in place forever as percentage of ownership in the property supporting the homeowner, home values, the entire community, all with a financial interest, and or moral interest.

Struggling home owners could use this type of grant to regain their ability to contribute to the economy. Home owners could transfer partial ownership of their home to the grant program.  Homeowners, banks, realtors, appraisers, bondholders, renters, and the entire world would benefit.  Being progressive in dealing with struggling homeowners will help deal more effectively with fluctuations in the business cycle, and allow our government to show its commitment to being thoughtful of all.

So much of a home owner’s life goes towards paying the mortgage. This maybe impractical, and unsustainable in part because of increased efficiencies, limited natural resources, global competition, and an aging population.  Resolving this material weakness will be good for everyone, and increase flexibility of our economy to meet future challenges.

Currently small regional banks have been exempt from banking regulation of their mortgage originations.  Banks have relied on the under educated, and under informed customer to be their main profit source.   Enticing people with low introductory rates into products they could not realistically afford in the long term.  The lapse of regulation that has occurred continues to contribute to the housing problem, and now threatens to hurt the entire economy.  All Banks need to be regulated in all areas to ensure fair treatment, and pass along increased efficiencies to society.

Further regulation of mortgage brokers will only work if all banking is regulated.  Brokers’ help customers get into programs created by banks.  If banks can do anything then increased regulation of brokers will be ineffective. Rates of profit allowed should be tighter on brokers because of increased efficiencies in recent years.  Government needs to from time to time pass along efficiencies gained by business/society to the consumer.  Too address and eliminate a weakness of capitalism.

Rates of profit allowed should be lower in particularly on teaser rate mortgages, adjustable rate mortgages, stated income mortgages, and interest only mortgage programs because of the increased risk to bondholders who take on this debt.  Additionally smaller profits on questionable programs would encourage brokers to put customers in the right mortgage product for the customer.  This can be done by slight modifications to laws already in place by states, and the federal government.

Mandate all adjustments in rates to be indexed to too the federal funds lending rate. Rather than indexes that have the potential to distort adjustments materially higher. To ensure maximum multiplier effects by federal policy. To increase transparency of investments’ in mortgage bond; hence, helping all investors be able to make better decisions.

Prepayment penalties on mortgages need to be reduced, and morally applied to everyone alike.  I would suggest no more than one year to reflect the increased ease at which mortgages can be created, and to not unreasonable slow down transactions of home investors. To fill a loop that unfairly sets up teaser rate borrowers to large pre-payment penalties that can erode equity in homes.

Passive or active government grant type owner ship in all banking comparable to what is already in place with large federal banks could be used to help banks retain market value, continue to work to improve efficiencies, and better align there moral values with everyone in society.  Government intervention would ensure the sustainability of the banking industry despite continuing unforeseen changes in their role.  Banks need to be better able to make more thoughtful decisions without fear of going out of business.

Handling this sensitive issue quickly would be prudent to show Americas’ ability to respond quickly to changing information.  Permanent grants can be used by individual states, entire United States, the world, and or any area of human concern. I hope to continue to share my understanding on other issues our nation faces in the future.

Eharmony versus Match.com online dating sites; Where do look for your mate?

Where do you look for you mate?  Eharmony.com  focuses on a more complete profile of people.    Eharmony can be worked at to create a good relationship; even offers counseling for married couples.  Eharmony does the job on helping people learn more about themselves, and meet through the process of elimination.   My experience with Eharmony.com has not been great; so far, patience is a virtue.  Eharmony.com helps with self awareness and improving dating skills.

Poker Players Alliance makes breakthrough identifying Congress members voting records!

Poker Players Alliance published a U.S map showing which congress members were friendly to Poker Players rights, and what was the voting record of voting.  Given many people don’t even knows the rules to many of the games is clear demonstration you can learn skill in all forms of poker.   Luck does play a significant role particularly in No Limit holdem; but, more complex games like 7 card stud limit holdem is a clear game where skill matters.  Forms of poker should be allowed with regulation to ensure safe fun and opportunity for the most people possible.   People can reap the benefits of technology if we work together to handle the hard problems.  Problems tend to occur on the edges of a society and initiatives led by intelligent people are working.  Government needs to address fraud in internet poker, and help protect people they serve.  How cools is this new polling product below available through www.Wordpress.com

To buy or sell stocks?

“SELL!!! SELL!!!! SELL!!” as Jim Cramer of Mad Money would say.   Understandable the market and everyone around the world is very excited about the government ownership in the banking industry.   With government ownership society can collect higher tax revenue at a lower tax rate for everyone.  Today Secretary Paulson went on television calling the move unwanted; but, necessary.   Offering banks the ability to re buy stock purchased by the government in the future.  This makes Topstockblog bearish on the market.   The 900 point rally is a great time to cash out.

Non profit organizations deserve recognition!

Non-profit organizations have contributed a great deal to the world.  Non-profit organizations and the like have great potential to help improve society.  Careful planning, aided by the creation of non-profit organizations and the use of available organizations can make a big difference in the future.

Kiva.org gives small loans to people in need around the world that are paid back with out interest, and reused to help others.

Charity Focus Organization helps people get access to resources to starting a non-profit orgaization and provides opportunities to volunteer to help others.  It is an organization run by volunteers.  They carry a very positive message and even offer banners that can be displayed with positive messages all for free.

Prairie Meadows is a non-profit  horse race and casino organization operating in the state of Iowa since 1989.  A public service the corporation offers is grant funding for other non-profit 501C registered corporation who look to add value between $5,000 and $25,000.  It is a competive grant with limitations on funding.  Providing needed funding to generate benefit around the state of Iowa.  I just wanted to share my admiration for the creativity and social purpose of this corporation.

Should the 6th District of Texas fire Joe Barton?

Joe Barton of the 6th district has boldly put forward statement calling policies mandating envirnonmental standards disatrous for the economy

Topstockblog senses a rat. Is Representative Joe Barton’s pockets enriched with oil money.  No more Joe’s of ignorance in Washington D.C. the capital of my country.  Joe Barton has questionable judgement. Topstockblog is equally dumb at times. In Topstockblog opinion Joe Barton is taking ownership of the failed lack of responsibility of American culture.  Oil should be stored in the ground where it is found to the best of our ability to ensure a society with opportunity, freedom, and beauty. Greed and gluttony are real threats to the long term sustainability of our communities.  Joe Bartons strong denial of responsibility to meet challenges of the future is weak.  He said the cost may be too high and disastrous for the economy.   Failure to stop global warming at any cost is ultimately destruction of the planet.  If you can’t stop a force then it’s motion has the potential to become perpetual in one direction towards the gravitational pull of the sun in which we orbit.  A common phenomenon resulting in the lack of life on all observable planets.  Good Bye Joe Barton the Representative from Texas.  Enjoy retirement.

Quickest way to healthy economy is communication. Reducing housing payments and helping others

With careful communication the world could provide, maintain, and ensure housing for everyone while increasing the overall functioning of a healthy economy.   In large part this can and should be done with reduced taxation, reduced cost of housing, increased understanding of community, and the idiocy of paying for the same assets over and over.   Interest payments dictate many homeowners would pay as much or more than three times the cost of the house over a course of a loan.   That does not make common sense.  It has lead to a healthy economy for many years with a few less fortunate not benefitting in America.   With a more broad look around the  world the lack of banking opportunities, funcitiongovernment, trade relationship have left underdeveloped and impoverished people.  Education, and leadership can solve these complex problems.  For instance recognizing even as we have taken North Korea off the international state sponsors of terrorist list we must take further action to remedy the great poverty of the nation and ultimately helping our selves.   We should buy debt and employ the neighbor of South Korea to send products to the north.  The south is a major investor in the United States debt market and has great capacity to generate products that would greatly help North Korea.   American government can be a great force of stabilization while protecting Americans.

More work needed to expand health care, meet housing needs, reduce costs, and share benefits most appropriately.

The government officials are scared, and do not even understand what is going on.  Citizens’ around the world need to get the best deal possible for each other. To recognize devisive, and unimportant topics that will effect the lives of around 4 billion people, and all the truly voiceless others. Government should abort Karl Rove strategies that advise dividing, and conquer voting techniques. The people can fight back against inappropriate forces as we see them. $100 billion dollars at a time released was most appropriate.  The discretionary $350 billion dollars is best divided into other needed funding that takes an eternal out look into the opportunity to find real solutions. $700 billion dollars could be too much spending. The government has a plan for the first $100 billion dollars.  After that is spent we can spend as needed with the vote of the senate or congress.  George Bush going to heaven may look like a long shot.  The United States long term position on fighting fraud, and inflation.   The United States must rise to the occasion to protect the environment and citizens’ around the world alike.  Learning from the past.   Responsibility is good; we all feel safe with low prices.  With inflation comes confusion, fraud, and manipulation.  Teach English to the world.  Smile, and give thanks.

The problems with nuclear development in the world.

Enrichment of Uranium, and  the known consequences of the Iranian’s regimes inappropriate pursuit of Uranium are clear demonstrations of Irans lack of respect for world order.  This is also evidenced by military aggressive activities that include supplying military training to terrorist, and weapons experts.  The blind allowance of foreign illegal arms to move through the nations.  The supplying of weapons in Iraq.  Al Sadr who speaks for Iran is trying to continue the violence against the United States.   Al Sadr has murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraq’s people.   The Iranian regime looks more like devils head itself every day.

Topstockblog understands the peaceful nature of most all Iranian’s, and recognizes the failure of America to step up, and kick your ass.  As such, we can work together.  The oil cartel must work to reduce output while increasing global prosperity by reducing noncollectable debts in a shared understanding of common friendship.   Iran must stop torture, respect womens’ + mens’ + childrens’ free will.  Free will is the gift of god not to be challenged or Iblis will crush your skull for eternity on electric fire from the parallel world.

Iblis is not the enemy of man.  Iblis has standards and fights for human rights.  Iblis attempts to help others with careful study and action.
Iblis Acknowleges all fighters and those who we fight for of any belief or lack there of.  Particularly hard line Muslims’ of noble ambitions as soldiers from Muhammad in search of ultimate peace.  Muhammad was a soldier of God as his job.  Muhammad clearly defined his violent acts as one of his jobs on earth.  Each of us must find our way.  My reincarnation as an economist of sincere concern for the planet.  By genetic make up destined to be concerned for others and of free will.  Born with one my adrenal glands in the wrong place.  Having often acted with no fear or too much fear.  Developed a strong fear for the future and an honest pursuit of solutions.  Having written numerous articles to help society and a percieved responsibility to improve my influence to help the world.

To prove my status as an angel of god is in heaven and remain defiant serving the people.  Fighting for human rights with common sense, education, documented study, careful planning, and happiness.   Not Allowing women to be bought and sold.   Not allowing others to judge unfairly.     Encouraging education, and shared goals.  Discouraging greed, and evil activities.  Encouraging participation in government.   Standards carried forward in business and personal life alike.  Faith for the weak to rely on.  Faith for the strong to challenge.  Sound principles that shall stand the test of time until the next prophet.  To help the people of the world solve problems through understanding. I command muslim authority as a prophet from god. I will prove myself as of good intention. Working to promote moral values of human rights, good values, and shared responsibility. To use my government with hell fire capabilities to make clear my connection with Iblis if necessary. a willing body be taken at gods will. As Iblis an angel despite my flaws. I grant atheist, Christians, Muslims, and all other beliefs the obligation to respect free will.

Jesus took great pride, and enjoyment in his own suffering.   God gave him a special gift of suffering.  We all have a need to suffer at times.  Good will, positive spirit, hard work, learning, and faith hold the answers.  Both, Jesus and Muhamid made clear their lives were given so you did not have to fight.   Muhamid advised  using violent strategies to end conflicts swiftly.  Muhamid expressed his understanding of his shared responsibility towards others. The rationale he used to justify his horrific actions. He also, made clear a third prophet of foriegn decent would rise to bring you glory. Glory as in justice on earth. I hope to bring you sound economic theory to help the world grow together.
My understanding of Muhamids intentions is to share responsibility. To share in the wealth and suffering of others to achieve potential. This is compatible with Christian, Hindu, Budhist, and Scientific faiths.
To gain from the contributions of others and not take for granted civic responsibility. My job as an economist looking to and now needs to be focussed on living in peace.   Taking responsible action to ensure economic conditions are improved.   Oil use of not.  People of the desert will be cared for.  Complex Algorithims can fight poverty, hunger, disease, and recognize the beauty of the planet.

Topstockblog war strategy brings hope of sharing more extensive and complete coordination with all middle eastern nations, China, and Russia.   Russia has new explosives that will allow for the destruction of complete cities without using Uranium.    As leaders other nations must step up to end this war swiftly before violence breaks out.   Topstockblog acknowledges that
Topstockblog ensures as an American protected by anti government assasination principles encourage Iraq to stand with the United States. Topstock offers promises based on evolutions principles. Iran is a shared Enemy. Topstock blog policies will bring economic sustainability, access to health care, food, electricity, jobs, education, peace, right, freedom to worship, and a strong ally.

Topstockblog is on the left side of politics and antiwar by moral principles.   I for concern for safety of all people.  Women shall not be covered, and sold like heathens.  Minds shall not wasted,  Oil shall not be pumped endlessly in the sky.

Iran has continued to attempt to drown the United States in debt and murder people oppossed to Iran in Iraq. Use of suicide bombers and Iranian made explosives in Iraq.  Iran is now near 30 years of failed policy. As a Iraq writer shared to the world you can’t eat oil. We have food and our ability to be part of the solution should not be ignored. ear evil regime of Iran’s existence they have oppressed their people and pushed hateful messages toward western nations.  As John Mcain has called for BOMB, BOMB, BOMB Iran!   The countless public and private speeches on the evil of the Americans. The world must stand up to the evil, and take appropriate action to response.

Iran’s violently took over of the nation in the late 1970’s and has since continued to use the threat of violence.  This threat is greatly accleratted as Iran has doubled enrichment of Uranium multiple times over the last few years.   The nation does nothing to stop terrorist.  The nation trains terrorist that carry out attacks around the world targeting woman and children. through systematic threat of violence and false promises. They have failed to take down Iraq and have failed to win the hearts of the people. The Iranian regime is a curse from hell. That shall soon reach there faite. I just hope Russian and China will initiate the fight to ensure the swift destruction of the Iranian brigades.

In these times of looming war, I ask all concerned citizens of the world to be on look for violent threats and report them to government aouthorities. For the world to join together to stop and if necessary destroy the nation of Iran.   Iran threatens the world by creating economic policies that will cause great suffering around the globe.  Iran has consistently demonstrated their lack of concern for human rights, women, and other cultures.

America on the other hand is turning the corner to correct errors in judgement of the retiring generation.  We are going after those who commit crimes. Fixing past mistakes, solving the energy problem, trying to communicate with people who need help. Trying to be a more thoughtful neighbor with good intentions. As one man I work for millions hopefully to the benefit of all to fullfill shortfalls in communication and education. I worry so you don’t have too. Of course, if you are reading this you most likely share my concerns and I applaude your attention. Society must work achieve principles of evolution, and provide benefits to all people to promote beneficial cooperation utilizing all assets. As a whole community we can solve problems. Principle of sound economy must be adherred to achieve this very elusive target. Freedom of choice, freedom of religion, shared concern, honesty, community participation, population management, security, human rights, and shared technology are all parts of a sound economy.    Education, jobs, and thoughtful policy will help communicate the principles of cooperation.  Much of my message is hoping to prevent war and turn Iran around; but,  no one can see the future.
More detailed coverage of my study of the Iranian situation.  Preventing wide spread uncontrolled nuclear proliferation is a necessary control to prevent destruction of the world in the future. As such stopping the Iranian Regime will have a positive long term economic effect on the world regardless of how it is achieved in my opinion.
North Korea has cooperated and is in great need of food.  Millions of North Koreans have suffered throughout history from a lack of food.  The United States of America should immediately pursue aggreements with China to supply food to North Korea. With good will America can cut energy use, find principle of more free time, and reduce debt with world partners. Simply by negotiating deals that provide for long term shared goals of sustainable economic benefit.

Day trading, and taking losses

Day trading is very hard.  The work done well is consuming and mentally draining.  Wallstreet tries to make money on every trade, and made a cardinal mistake this life time.  Being overly overlyaggressive, and continually attacking the weak.  That is not using our minds to most effectively.   The long term view, and helping other’s is of greater importance in my mind.

Topstockblog has worked to focus on learning from my mistakes, and growing as a trader.

(updated old trading notes from January 31, 2008)

Picking my battles, and limiting my losses needs to be the lesson learned.   I still like the short in COF.   The bulls’ made a great argument today.  COF has recently crossed above its 50 DMVA and bottomed with excessive volume around 40.   I could have covered my short with a long hedge.  A straddle would have worked well.  Short sellers  covered, and buyers bought.   The after hours news was icing on the cake for a bull.  Could mark the top in after hours. Rebuy doesn’t start until 2nd half of the year and the debt level ratios were mentioned indicating of more erosion of ratios in my pessimistic hope.  Really interested to see the jobs report in the morning.  More data points are going to make things more clear.  Deterorating loan quality and rising defaults are at the heart of my short sale argument on COF.   It is very difficult to day trade market successfully.  Seven tips I’d like to consistently remind myself of.

1.  Limit position size  – position size is critical to reducing being overly biased and too consumed by a single trade.  My return will be negative in the long run if I add to losing positions and over invest in a single idea.

2.  Focus on  making money in a competitive environment – Look at all angles of a trade.  The 50 DMVA shows you momentum and should adjust perspective to work with the crowd.   Identify who is buying and selling, watch the market for clues, and look for real reasons for a directional move in a stock.  Its not about feeling good or bad about a position.  It’s not about stress or lack there of.   It’s about making money.  “They are who we thought they were!  We let ’em off the hook!” Atlanta Falcons head coach after a bad game.

3. Good judgement is the ultimate winner in any market   I will be confused, and trading will be challenging.

4. Buy low, sell high.    Common sense

5. Sell high, buy low  – Common sense

6. Spread my money out more broadly – near delta neutral or at least a single bet long and short.

7. A percentage of funds in cash ensures flexibility to meet oportunity

8. Set stop losses to get out of a position when a stock does not act as you had hoped.  A maximum percentage loss when you will exit a trade.

9. Reposition the trade to make extra profits.

T. Boone Pickens link looking to solve looming problems in the economies of the world.

T Boone Pickens Energy plan to reduce oil imports to protect the world.  T. Boones newest plan allows for complete elimination of all oil imports.

http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/126/a-mighty-wind.html   Pickens plans is creating jobs, and putting money in the owners of the land effected by windfarms.  10,000 – 20,000 per year picken is paying land owners; while, cattle can still graz the land.

T. Boone Pickens of BP capital management idea of creating an army of people cooperating to reduce oil dependence and protect the world economy. A long time Oil Man is changing his tune. T. Boone runs the world Oil Markets in combination with other world market players. T. Boone brought the lesson of high oil to the nation and world. The evil interests in the world are taking away subsidies of alternative energies, driving waste in oil use, promoting the attacks oil infrastructures, using the the threat of violence, and in some cases murder to achieve nothing. Oil should be around $3 a gallon sooner than later in America. I will advise T. Boone to buy domestic food to eleviate starvation around the world.
T. Boone is sure to run a tight Army with peaceful tactics to ensure the world is a safer and more fair place. Can't wait to watch the T. Boone Picken Army set the world straight. T. Boone is looking for the movers and the shakers to join together to get the energy policy right. I hope to contribute thoughtful ideas to help the world as part of the T. Boone Pickens Army.

The government has an obligation to pursue a course of business similar to that of a corporation in an effort to protect the people, reduce fruad, and promote a successful society.  Reduced taxation is needed to maintain a global competitiveness, and follow our developed understanding of the course of evolution.    With government ownership in business fruad can be greatly reduced, and eliminated possible.   On the other hand,  high rates of taxation; led by greed, results in predictable destruction.

Corruption related concerns, and known benefits of a steady hand in developing a society must be acknowledged.  George Bush, and many other people have failed in life to do their best respecting others.  The possibility that many people in government do not have the people in mind must be addressed.  The government should only be granted $100 billion dollars at a time.   $100 dollars is a lot of money to the majority of people around the globe.   $100 billion dollars is a good number to start with moving the economy to a more stable position.  Money in the hands of a few suspect characters or corporations will surely insure more of the same predictable destructive forces that led us here.  The allowance of dividends to be paid with government money is ridiculous.     Lower taxes should be accompanied by government ownership or participation in joint projects to most efficiently meet the needs of the world.   Cooperation to reduce interest payments of the United States of America, and to most effectively reduce predictable disfuntion in the future for the world as a whole is a good idea.

When profit rates of corporations dip below zero in a purely capitalist society taxation moves to zero.  Yet consumers are still expected to pay property taxes even when they have lost thier job or personal circumstances prevent them from doing so. The clear benefits of working with nations around the world  can be achieved.   With consumers tapped out, and tax collections declining the world as a whole loses.  If we work together with an understanding that society as a whole can grow together.  Through honest effort we can work to resolve important issues of all people.  We can work towards a healthy world working towards honest goals.

Glass half empty or half full!

Glass half empty or half full is a matter of perspective.  Topstockblog is a strong supporter of the glass half full.  Suffering or not; god gives us an opportunity to smile, and be thankful for what we have.  An opportunity to help others’.   Enjoy life, appreciate what you have, and be thankful for the opportunities life brings your way.

Stock market terms, that means the market maker is going to be moving things around a bit to accomodate many sellers; but, confounded by realities of balancing inventories, and making a profit.  He is hoping for a big profit!

Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) looks like a good stock for the next 12 months,

JNJ corporation a family staple good.  Supplying a wide range of pharmeacutical products.  has an unprecedented number of supporters over at the Motley Fool an investment community; JNJ 5 star rated.  This could of course be a contradictory indicator; but, I think JNJ will trading near 70 is a safe bet with more buyers than sellers driving the stock higher in the next 12 months in my opinion.   In a recession sales of JNJ will be little effected and given it’s scale of economy it should be able to continue to increase efficiencies lowering costs supporting by the high quality products JNJ is know for.   JNJ pays out  a 2.5% dividend.

Paulson might just be a fraud of Wall Street, More concern for the long term potential rahter than profit margins.

Secretary Paulson (Updated 10/08/2008) has advised the buying of bad debt from rich bond holders.  To avoid worse consequences in the future for the economy. This is a direct violation of capitalist principles of allowing debts that are noncollectable to be declared worthless. George Bush purchased $25 Billion dollars in bad car loans. He is neglecting his duty to represent all Americans equally. America should have said no to this bailout in Topstockblog’s opinion.  America is already been burned once by Paulson buying bad debt.   Paulson the former head of Goldman Sach’sthe merger king of the world a certainly collapsible industry as it serves to concentrate, and isolate capital by the process of mergers.  Paulson’s actions do little or nothing for average, and poor Americans in Topstockblog opinion.  America deserves a shared ownership with corporations creating an opportunity to greatly lower taxes.  The rich who own bonds; not, average hard working Americans.  Many of the rich to benefit from the current buy out of bad debt are foreigners. The children of America should not receive more bad debt.   I apologize, and sympathize with unfortunate holders of bad debt in retirement funds. More unrecognized bad debt added to the national debt is a bad idea.

Stock market risks, buy Gold ETF’s opinion

The stock market is a very complex system with risk. Much of the risk lies in the future earnings expectations of some industries.
The Kirk Report is a really good source of sotck information.  Jim Cramer of Mad Money on CNBC of The Street.com is a great resource on the stock market direction. I think gold will trade to $1000 an ounce or higher. ETF’s that track gold might be a safer investment. Diversification, and hi quality investments are very important.  Unfortunately what seemed so safe a few months ago have quickly become very risky assets in large part from greed.

United States Senate refuses to discuss taking away tax breaks to Oil Corps.

A little sun light on why the U.S senate refuse to discuss taking away Oil corporations tax breaks ?  In a year with more record profits while Americans suffer.   The senate also failed to discuss tax cuts that are going to expire for renewable energy programs.  Tax hikes on Oil Corporations, and Pro tax cuts on renewable energy that will help our country and the world deal with both economic and environmental concerns.  Many democrats in the Senate say they are pro tax hikes on oil, and pro tax cuts on renewable energy programs.

A loss of access to energy and environmental damage are dangers that need to be addressed through good judgement followed by sound action.  So talking about this problem and bringing sunlight to the United States Senators opposed to talking about Oil tax breaks of 17 billion dollars over the next ten years, and cutting renewable tax breaks is a mistake.  Inappropriate influence of Oil Cartels, Large Military powers (yes us), lies, and bad decisions made by people in power must have sunlight be brought to them.  A little sun light will help prevent these problems in the future.  All these events have the potential to destroy lives.  It’s just a matter of how risk is tolerated, and how well it is found to be controllable.

Thanks for reading,  A special thanks and recomendation to United States senator Sam Wexler.   Mr. Wexler is doing a great job and sharing hope for justice with all around the world.  He continues to do so much to make are nation work appropriately.

Democrat Barney Frank issues statement of grievance against the Whitehouse + Republicans for failure to regulate government sponsored enterprises like housing lender Fanie Mae sooner.

Frank Statement on Congressional Action Regarding GSE Legislation

Washington, DC – House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) issued the following statement today in response to accusations from a White House spokesperson that Congress has been reluctant to move forward on GSE legislation for many years:

“The truth is when President Bush took office, and the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress, he did not make any progress on comprehensive legislation to reform the regulation of the Government Sponsored Enterprises.  It was not until 2005, when the House, on a bipartisan basis, and over the President’s objections finally passed a reform bill.  It died in the Senate in part because the White House’s failure to make it a priority.

“In 2006, when the Democrats regained control of Congress, House Democrats made it one of our highest priorities, and passed a bill in May 2007.   Finally, a full year later, as the financial crisis worsened, the Senate passed and the President signed GSE reform.

“It is unfortunate that ideologues in the White House who opposed common sense regulation did not join Congress early enough to help prevent the financial firestorm that now threatens the entire economy.”

Congress Representative Kirsten Gillibrand and the Public Forum Institute hosted economic summit on energy, and technology opportunities in New York

The 2008 economic summit was a great experience, and well attended at the Gideon Putnam Hotel.  The conference brought together influential people interested in economics of the region.   I learned about some interesting opportunities.   New windows that save great deals of energy in each installed house, and the strength of the windows was a highlight that stands out in my mind.  Classes on  gaining access to capital, and how to employ existing capital in the New York region.   Wind Farms can be created, and are being created.

(8/21/2008) Congress Representative Kirsten Gilibrand of the 20th District of Upstate New York is proving to be a strong member.  The government website linked above documents and provides links to much of the hard work she has put into action since she took office.   Kirsten Gillibrand, and The Public Forum Institute is hosting an economic forum in September to discuss ideas to build a bright future for the region.  Topstockblog is very happy about receiving an invitation to the event and will let readers know more after attending the event.

Fannie + Freddie used poor accounting to create the largest public bail out ever,+ link, + quote from Ny Times

Freddie and Fannie Mae    The two largest lenders in the United States housing market appear to have been manipulated numbers recently to offset the timing of losses, and used other complex accounting manipulations for a variety of reasons.  The corporations state they were trying to help the most people possible.   Topstockblog opposes public buyout by tax payers with out public ownership.

-quote below taken from http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/07/business/07fannie.html?hp —-

“Regulators are also said to be scrutinizing whether the companies were trying to manage earnings by waiting to add to their reserves. Both companies have gradually increased their reserves for loan losses — Fannie’s reserves today stand at $8.9 billion, and Freddie’s at $5.8 billion.

Other companies, like private mortgage insurers, have been quicker to identify large losses and have set aside much greater amounts. Fannie and Freddie have dribbled out bad news with each quarterly announcement, suggesting they may be trying to manage this process.

Finally, regulators are concerned that the companies may have mischaracterized their financial health by relaxing their accounting policies on losses, according to people familiar with the review. For years, both companies have effectively recognized losses whenever payments on a loan are 90 days past due. But, in recent months, the companies said they would wait until payments were two years late. As a result, tens of thousands of loans have not been marked down in value.

The companies have injected their own capital into pools of securities containing these loans, arguing that their new policies are helping more borrowers.

Under conservative accounting methods, changing these policies would not have any impact on the companies’ books. However, people briefed on the accounting inquiry said that Freddie Mac may have delayed losses with the change.”

Cheaney may be tied to KBR oil bribes in Nigeria; but, never questioned?

What?  Where is the justice in that? Time to rewrite some laws in Topstockblog’s opinion.  Check out this link covering the story of KBR inqiury broader, Federal investigation goes beyond a single incident in Nigeria.   The fraud is gradually being uncovered through brave actions of a few honest, and or pissed off people.  Karl Rove’s tactics that could be used on you by aquantances dividing and conquering your votes. Japanese Prime Minister Resigns – Financials sell off heavily in Japan!

Japanese Prime Minister resigns in response to a weakening economy and allegations of dishonesty. Energy Legislation – Flexible Fuel Taxation, Reduce Reliance on Trading Markets, Car Powering Batteries,

Apeciating what we have is an important part of the future.  I like what you have done, and are looking to do.  I have a few suggestions to build on past legislation.  I would look at flexible taxation for oil consumers as part of the strategy to better match an educated understanding of reality.  Oil and Gas corporations have a duty to share holders to maximize profits, and this is often in contrast with doing what is best for consumers.  Two thirds of all U.S corporations paid 0 dollars in federal taxes last year.  Corporations influence the government in some cases in ways that lead to much suffering for some people.  The government should pass legislation to use a flexible taxation policy.    This would include taking no taxes when gas trades above say a fixed price of $3, and would take taxes on gas when the price was below $3 keeping the price constant to the consumer, and business alike.  Nothing makes someone more angry than when they feel they have been tricked.

Encourage sharing, and less greed.  Many Americans or shall I say most grow up looking for unrealistic riches.   Most follow all the rules, and then are greatly distressed when they do not achieve the great riches.  In many cases people can not meet basic needs.  We can learn from China the happiest nation on the planet in the sense that realistic expectations leads to the greatest happiness.   Predictable energy prices are an important part of developing our society to reach potential.
Taxes revenue can be collected when oil is lower than target maintaining the price at $3.  Tax revenue and debt reconciliation of balance sheets should occur currently recognizing profits not traditionally recognized by idle valuable lands.  Money threatens to become distorted by large entities + nations that want to build assets long term through accumulating massive amounts of debt dollars.  Taxes collected can be used to pay government expenses, even profits to corporations, and other community projects.

Trading markets are overly concerned  with profits, and have long been non-profit enterprises to keep markets functions.  Large funds of money can become very disruptive, non-functioning.  Government needs to become competitive in a constructive way with these large money funds to protect the citizens’ of the world.  Government should negotiate long term contracts with other nations like Canada + Russia + Venezuela, to supply oil and cut out all the dealers + unneeded markets that have proved disruptive, and threaten long term stability.

Oil prices went to low in the 1980’s and many technologies were forced to be shelved.  Prices going to low is counterproductive.  Energy policy legislation  should look at using batteries to power cars.   The use of battery powered cars eliminates much of the pollution, and cars may travel three times as far on comparable energy consumption.   Current cars can be modified, and gas stations can be modified to change batteries instead of pump gasoline.

Cuban tries to fix Olympic Referees’ with kick to the face!

Good Job my friend from Cuba. Referees’ are not what the Olympics are about. An upset Martial Arts competitor was disqualified for taking to long to recover from illegal blow. Then kicked the referee in response to show the referee’s aggressive tactics.   Olympic officials’ have become a scar of disgrace on the 2008 Olympics.  Several boxing bouts were judged completely inaccurately.   The boxers were robbed of their glory as the matches became a bitching session for disgruntled announcers and coaches.

Barrack Obama chooses Joe Biden as his running mate to be vice president

Senator Joeseph R. Biden Jr.  is chairman of the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee.   Joe Biden checks out to be a good choice after reviewing some important voting records.   Topstockblog endorses Joe Biden because of his voting record.

Topstockblog does share a few worries about the Barrack Husein Obama – Joeseph R. Biden Junior Ticket for the 2008 president election. Joe Biden has been overly critical of Barrack Obama according to an MSNBC link below.   Joe Biden did vote for the war in Iraq; not good. The campaign may be to closely tied with bailing out rich investors. Responsibly American’s need to be given more of the credit for the good choices they have made. The suffering that goes on in our communities can be alleviated through thoughtful legislation led by thoughtful + intelligent people. The American government needs to become more intelligent. When we loan banks money because they have run out of money the American public needs to gain in the upside of any future money made on these loans. What is good for Corporations is good for Americans. Prophets; not Profits need to lead our world. Generous loans or bailouts saving bond holders + share holders is not appropriate unless radical change in governments around the world occur to support honesty and good will.
Topstockblog needs to get new legislation through the government removing the executive powers ability to take facts away from the senate and congress. Ignorance only goes so far. Facts led by responsibility is needed.
Barrack Husein Obama is lucky to have had his experiences growing up over seas to know that war was not the best way forward.  Topstockblog was also against the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Joe Biden and Topstockblog both have suffered severe head trauma.  Not good; of course we are both relatively young at ages 65 and 32 respectively.   Senator John Mcain was a prisoner of war for years in Vietnam. Not good.

said he wanted a vice president who could help him with the economy.  Joe Biden is at the forfront of trade opportunities, understading, and awareness being chairman of the Foriegn Relations Commitee.
MSN just ran an article on Barrack Obama’s choice of Joe Biden to be the Democratic vice president in the 2008 election.
Here are some of Joe Biden’s voting record,
MSNB Barrack Obama to speak this evening + leaking of V.P. choice.
– Voted 2003 to use military force in Iraq.
– Voted 2003 against the Bush tax cuts.
– Voted against Republican Supreme Court nominees William Rehnquist, Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts and Samuel Alito.

Some people believe Karl Rove should be prosecuted for criminal crimes.
Topstockblog is not sure on the best course forward. An investigation seems like a step in the right direction. Certainly political activism like reading and or discussing tough topics would be helpful. Can we really expect government to do all the policing if the peole do not care or take the time to care? does believe in governing using methods from the 1800’s. Comedian Ben Stien calls Karl Rove a good friend and describes Karl as good hearted. Topstockblog believes an appology from Karl Rove to the world would be appropriate.  Karl is said to have been part of a conspiracy Topstockblog recently watched on a plan that ws formed by the rich and elite to control the world forever with little concern for others.  Again, mistakenly a few individuals had innapropriate influence over important details in the economy with out concern for the people.   ignorant did not account for principles of technology, innovation, and intelligence to be able to do more with less while taking other complex variables into account to maximize satisfaction while minimizing harm. For example a basic principle of doctors of do no harm could be brought into all industries to increase the friendlyness of our economy.
Just because strategies of trickery used during the 1800’s worked in business, doesn’t mean we should not work to find better ways. The world needs to work to find ways we can work towards solving problems in the most positive way. Setting minimum standards and aiming towards other appropriate standards.

Barrack Obama should choose Senator Patrick Leahy from Vermont to be vice president

Barrack Obama is in search of the next possible Vice President of the United States.

Topstockblog thinks Barack Obama will select senator Patrick Leahy from Vermont to be his Vice President.   Topstockblog has sent letters to many senators around the nation to help solve and prevent major problems in America.  Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont has communicated back personally, and recently shared his intentions to keep Topstockblogs words in mind, when negotiated with Iraq’s government on policiy going forward with the intention of Iraq taking responsibility .  Senator Leahy was effective in getting millions of dollars in cash immediately handed out to the Iraqi people to meet daily living needs for food, water, and housing.  Followed by Iraq spending 47 billion dollars  or roughly just under half the money Iraq had saved up from oil sales.  Spending the money effectively ended the war because the people and the world gained enough trust in the governments intention to support the people and use the oil money for good.   Serving to reduce political corruption, ensure money in Iraq is spendable, and eliminate the terrorist ability to use war to drive America broke.  Senator Leahy is a great asset to America.     Al Gore together with Barrack Obama would put a solid duo in the White House.   Al Gore has previously stated he is not interested in the position.  Maybe, Al Gore would be open to some part time communication with the White House?  Barrack Obama shows a tremendous ability to learn, listen, and communicate effectively.

Obama seeks info on Dodd in vice president search
“Dodd, 64, is a five-term senator with a lengthy foreign policy resume. A fluent speaker of Spanish,  served in the Peace Corps and has had a strong interest in Latin American affairs throughout his career. A longtime member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he’s been able to wield a heavy influence on U.S. involvement in the region.” Quote taken from the above link 7/11/08

Maybe Hillary Clinton could end up being the next vice president? No news reports on this subject since early June.  Hillary Clinton put her full support behind Barrack Obama for president of the United States of America with former president Bill Clinton in tow.

Topstockblog Bearish on the market; QQQQ, SPY,

The stock market is becoming a bit risky with much uncertainty in the future.  Retirement , health care, transportation, environment, housing, banking, infrastructure, tax structure, idiots, ignorant people, fraud, hate, and other topics all pose threats that will likely push the market lower.   The market stagnation could get worse.   The nature of how unfriendly the markets are is disturbing.  Possible more disturbing than listening the lighting in the North East yesterday.  Much of which traveled horizontally for what seemed like hours.   Thought it may have been a war.  Time to get rid of for profit market makers.  Sponsor small traders, and innovate.

The number of people retiring, and hoping to spend money that is now currently in the stock market is higher than most people would like to acknowledge.

The housing market is still headed lower.  The national vacancy rate of properties in the United States is near 15%.   The cost of heating homes has tripled over the last five years.   Mortgage payments have accelerated higher for variable rate mortgage holders causing great distress.   To address this problem and others caused by the housing crisis the government would be best served by bringing creating programs that bring ownership of homes to many state workers in place of high wages.   Mortgages could be paid off for retired or any state worker for that matter to be able to greatly reduce government liabilities while increasing functioning.    American tax payers need to be compensated for past contributions.

American Tax payers should be able to reject social security, and pension payments to reduce death tax obligations and or meet personal responsibility obligations.

Bonds can be issued that lose a small percentage to ensure the usefulness of money is preserved.   Profits recorded in the short term do not always reflect the best long term solutions.   Other motives for buyers of bonds that lose money could be wide ranging; but, with a focus of morality.

Not seeing enough progressive ideas coming forward to at least see some further decline in the market in Topstockblogs humble opinion.

Ballot iniatives; Paid sick days, money for alternative fuels, and thoughtful policies part of a strong future

Ballot initiatives around the country can help society fix problems.   Government elections are a form of voice that must be excercised to protect society.

Balot inititives in local elections could  address many needs.   Iniatives switching to alternative fuels need to be part of the election process this year.  We don’t want to destroy the environment the source of life in the world because of a little greed.   When an ecosystem crashes the whole system is often destroyed.  Pay big oil to keep the oil in the ground.  Spread the technology.  Change the rules to make the world work.  We need to work together.   Many nations have created alternative fuels in the United States.

12 States have initiatives on the ballot so far in 2008 concerning the need for paid sick days to all employees.

Topstockblog brain stormed some ideas to get on your local ballots –

–  Keeping the air clean policy supporting carbon farming techiniques,

 – Investing in technology,

  – Programs that help society grow together,

 –  Money for energy efficient appliances to be purchased in the home

 – Accounting for illegal immigrants to utilize a strong work force and protect human rights

  –  Work with Farmers to solve environmental problems

  – Give citizenss the right to reject social security payments to reduce death taxes

  –  Limit the use of tasers in the police department and increase the usage of camera’s + animals to provide security.

 –   Move to a flat tax at much lower rates.  Russian moved to flat tax of 13%.

Bonds with a negative 5% rate to bring capital into the system would be a good idea

Many of these policies are founded in an understanding the people in the future would pay a great price to ensure the world uses it’s resources carefully.   Middle East nations need to be paid to keep oil in the ground.  The world needs to work hard to move in a thoughtfull direction.   Towards honest solutions that take advantage of the current institutions ability to help the world.    Profits can be realized for conservation,

Distributing housing, and auto mobiles directly to military forces would be a great way to expand our military force utlizing over capacity, and cutting paid salaries greatly.  Helping the government meet long term moral obligations.  Better aligning the entire community.  Large disparities in wealth around the world is counter productive long term.  Human have a divine quality, and need to recognize this quality in others.  Savage acts are just that.  We have the capability and responsibility to innovate to increase the sustainability of our economy.  No more recessions.

The negative percentage paid out can be used by honest hard working rich people to contribute to the United States debt load problem, and reduce taxes to be paid in death.   We can innovate.   Batteries can go 26 years according to an agiatated caller.

A community in Colorado reached 10% alternative fuel targets 8 years early after mandate at lower cost.  Now moved to 20% target according to C-SPAN television. States take the lead in alternative fuels, and environmental protection. Washington’s lazy or ignorant politicians need to be sent home. States that have done nothing to deal with problems needs to be fired. No offense.  States must mandate high targets.  Complete Green movement needs to move forward.

Paying oil drillers, and oil corporations profits to keep oil in the ground is part of the solution.

Flexible tax policies to reduce gas prices immediately realizing the benefits to be recorded in the future.

Transmission lines need to be grown.  Another caller thanks the Troops.
PGE would not release records of alternative fuel initiatives according to the viewer.  Only way to cut big oil and government out is through conservation, and alternative fuels.  Ballot initiatives.

Caller cites large needs for New York State.  Coal plant in Ohio a problem.  Russia has limited sensitivity to the environment the caller sited.

Jamaica proving to be the fastest humans; Topstockblog sponsors 2nd child through Christian’s Children’s Fund.

 !Congratulations Jamicai!  Beijing, China –
The Jamaica track team is having a very strong performance at the 2008 Summer Olympics.   Shelly Ann Fraser won the women’s gold medal followed by teammates dead heating for the silver.  She is beautiful.  check out joyous picture at Yahoo Sports.

Topstockblog sponsored a 2nd child through Christians Childrens fund.  Topstockblog is now the proud sponsor of a handsome and intelligent 7 year old young man from Northern Vietnam.  His community has a vast number of needs that often go unmet.  He lives in a community that follows Thai belief system.  To raise True ( American translation) out of poverty I have to help his whole community.   True goes to school almost every day in his community.  The school is very poor, and has no electricity or water flow.  Topstockblog is very excited about this opportunity to help True, and his community.   Looking forward to learning more about his life, and culture.  I sent his community $500 dollars to help meet needs.  I sent $24 a month paid for the next six months, and $200 for the community to use to buy goats for breeding.   Goats are a tough animal that adapt to many conditions, easy to raise, and sell quickly.  Topstockblog bought Sandra’s family some goats over the years, and this is helping Sandra’s family out greatly.
In my seven year experience with Christians Children’s fund it has been wonderful. Most positive experience of my life. My first child Sandra is ten years old. She lives near Mexico City, and currently enoying being a ten year old kid.  Sandra, and her family express their thanks in writing, and through good actions.  All leters are translated free of charge, and typed neatly with the original letter.  Accounting standards are hight at Christian’s Childrens Fund.  I recieve pictured documentation of all the supplies + holiday gifts I have bought Sandra over the years.  I am very proud to help her family live a better life.  Her parents work very hard, and make good choices.  Sandra wants to be a school teacher when she gets older.  I hope to share more in the future about my experience with my sponsored children with respect for their privacy.

Government and mass media suppress the truth in the United States; Lower Taxes key to a moral society

The United States government is suppressing science and technology.   The executive branch (President – George W. Bush) suppresses technology, environmental, and probably much more from even the other houses of government by executive privileges.   Lets stop accusing China of media control until we are effectively dealing with our own problems of suppression.   Any time I publish anything of controversy it is systematically suppressed.  This happens with far to great a frequency to be random chance.  Limiting dissent (acess – distribution) of information in the United States written by Jules Boykoff of the American University. The Western Political Science Association held a conference in 2004 to discuss the significance of Limiting dissent of information in the United States.

Ballot initiatives fairly worded are the key to a successful election in the United States.   As the world reaches and exceeds maximum sustainable population at over three point some odd billion people the truth is the only possible cure.

Some businesses, corporations, and people have found ways to beat people down to recognize profits.  Taking advantage of slim margins that are most effective with high taxation policies.  With high rates of taxes corporations invest heavily in finding ways to not pay taxes.   Two thirds of corporations paid nothing in taxes last year.   Russia has moved to a flat taxes at 13 percent, proving highly successful in increasing taxes collected  and reducing fraud.   The need for lower taxes is clearly transparent.  Lower Taxes is key to reducing fraud in the world economy, and in this case horse racing.  For example Algorithims are the prescribed method of trading much of the money in the stock market.   Large parties control all aspects of the trade targeting small investors. Recently many  stocks have become so over sold despite profits because of the system is so unfriendly there are no real buyers.   Honest discussions and fair coverage of all sides of issues is a clear path to real solutions.

Developing personal responsibility is a life time process; Comparing assets, and liabilities.

In life we have a greater responsibility than we originally assume at birth.   A well developed mind is said to be the only force capable of understanding this responsibility.   Of course that is until someone helps you learn more of your personal responsibility.  Topstockblog tells readers;  We need to work more as a community that takes the future seriously.   Topstockblog strongly believes the future would pay a high price or any price for us to live more appropriately.   Look inside, reflect, and reprocess until you understand people have a responsibility to the future, and can recognize profits in the present to reflect such understanding.   Algorithmic forms hold much of the innovation that is readily available to reconcile problems around the world, meet obligations, wants, and improve functioning of society to match potential.  People in the future would pay  high prices if they could to solve and prevent problems in the future.   Divide, conquer, and inappropriate influences used by the misguided.  Our misguided.  Newt Gingrich endorses this strategy to win local elections.  This strategy has been in place since the 1840s, Targeting likely voters.

Topstockblog supports actions that educate, and unite people.  If we all vote, this helps solve the problem.   Maybe even disguising your intention of voting will be helpful.   Picking up Trash on the ground today I found the Barrack Obama Democratic message. Lets make voting easier.  Sounds like a good ballot initiative.  Meeting responsibility is something that is worth aiming towards.

Comparing assets to liabilities is a college level skill that is developed in accounting classes.    Assets come in a number of forms.  From Money in your pocket, to your personal relationships, your community, safety, health, etc.

Liabilities come from debt structures like credit cards, sickness, risks, financial obligations, crazy friends, and personal problems.

Assets, and liabilities are intertwined between past, and future decisions, and random chance.

Georgia should make peace, Russia should re-explain the military actions.

(Update 8./20/2008 – Russia still has yet to figure out how to go forward with Georgia.  Russia and concerned citizen’s around the world world the United States government is biased against Russia.  Topstockblog asks readers what is best going forward for evolution?  Topstockblog has no idea; but, a careful guess tells me Russia should establish some kind of comprehensive understanding with the United States on reducing bias.  For example congress may be responding to filtered data provided by the executive branch on the subject.  An honest senator may well have voted for the war in Iraq regretable because of filtered data.  Honest leaders, careful communication, hard work, technology, people, and innovation all should play a part in resolving the conflict.  )

(Update 8/15/2008 – Russia explains that Georgia has been posturing, and speaking aggressively about the military plans towards Russia.  Topstockblog reafirms it’s support to Russia, and to work with Russia.  Russian diplomat expressed a strong willingness to work with the United States to meet challenges of the world, and a firm respect for the United States.)

Google has deleted Georgia maps indicating Russia has won the war annexing Georgia.  Topstockblog supports the Russian move to take over the geographically desirable land of Georgia.  Georgia will bring a beautiful part of ocean front property to Russia.  This move greatly increases Russia’s ability to be a lasting world power.   The move is aggressive.  The territory is historically under Russian rule is in part why Topstockblog stands behind the aggressive Russian military excercise.

The move does violate international aggreements.  I encourage Russia to come forward with an intelligent explanation for the decision to take over Georgia.   Topstockblog stands firmly against evil intentions; please explain your actions Russia.

The world benefits from encouraging young minds to live happy, and sober until 21 years old

Encourage young people to live alcohol, and drug free until age 21 would be helpful in dealing with world problems.  In America much of the talent pools of labor are not ever reaching mental maturity in part because of alcohol and drug consumption  Minds n before the complete development of the mind.

Personally part of the problem drinking age when I was younger.  I must admit the truth to this.  I watch too much energy be wasted on alcohol, tobacco, drug, stealing, and posturing than other wise healthy.  One should not consume alcohol before the legal age of twenty one to fully enjoy the beauty of alcohol without losing a part of your brain that may be needed in the world.   One must take responsibility at a young age to engage in the educational system.  Education is not a goal that is easily attained, and can take many forms.

Topstockblog gives my respect to all those that fight the good fight of sobriety.  Paying a responsibility before they can fully understand the personal and shared responsibility in waiting to be of drinking age. to ensure you develop the later part of the brain that in large part foccusses on caring and understanding for others.

I watched a judge give a passionate and well communicated speech in court on the benefits on the brain on not wasting life drunk.

Important facts the judge shared include.

1. 30% of all youth underage of 21 in the world do not consume alcohol!

2.  5 Drinks of Alcohal a week between ages 17-21 will reduce you lifespan likely approximately      2-5 years.

3.  Car speed is the number one killer of youth in America killing over 3,000 youth tragically every year. (implied point is slow down, and realize dangers are greater than imagined)

4. The mind of a person is not fully developed until the age of 25. (The last stage of development largely concerns with our compassion towards others)

— end —

I drank to early, and developed bad drinking habits.  My mind is said to be stuck at 9 years old development age level irrespective of my bright inteligence by a jail psychologist, I saw today before getting out of jail.  My mind has never been allowed to develop to maturity.  I figured I had some brain to waste.  I have had my fun; but, I have been through more than my share of violence and suffering due to my drinking.  Much of this self inflicted.  It took 9 years to get a four year college degree.  I have come through a school of hard knocks and want to share the danger of alcohol to the youth of the world.   As the reincarnation of Iblais I walked the hard road so you don’t have too.  I worry, so you don’t have too.

The world goes on and we all have value.   Despite are short comings however small or large.

Long term oil contracts supported by people, corporations, and nations would support economic growth, and stability.

The world is far to beautiful to make reckless mistakes in.  Look for sustainability would encourage world harmony.

Oil markets need to adapt or be eliminated.  In capitalist terms that typically means elimination.  Price gouging, and market manipulation are sure to be a never ending part of oil futures trading markets.   Any market that allows for people to unreasonable lose or gain large amounts of money in very short periods of time is unsafe at best.

Why would Americans pay over a hundred dollars for a barrel of oil when nation around the world would sell us oil for lower prices.  How much lower?  Well, with oil trading at over $120 a barrel when nations with large oil reserves are currently will to make long term supply aggreements at more reasonable prices of say $80 a barrel.   Time for oil futures trading markets to go.  We don’t need you.  Support sustainable economic policies.

Posturing political positions for idealogical gain like supporting human rights with careful boundaries.

Posturing is a strong political stance without necessarily really needing the action to come through.  Most species, identities, and specifically people have taken postures to achieve ones goals.  My lesson learned is that going to far in a any direction will possible lead to one’s own demise.  Topstockblog is attempting to appropriately send  Iran, and any other person, or party a message that fraud or complete ignorance will not be tolerated.

Topstock is a strong supporter of a firm, and god willing unbreakable posture of  direct ultimatium to the Iranian nation.   Iran would control of the world by force if it could along with other hard line religious and or idealogical parties.  Topstockblog is in the battle until the end and will not let the world down.  Iblas hopes to share an earth someday that achieves understanding with out sacrificing morals or lacking development.   Iblis hopes this can be achieved around the world with careful planning.

Algorithm’s can help solve the world’s most serious problems.

An Algorithim is a sequence of numbers, ideas, events, and or any sequence that occurs in the world.  An Algorithim made by man can solve many of the worlds most pressing problems. This is possible because technology allows us to do more with less resources over time with effort.   The world can work to understand challenges, and exert appropriate influence where needed.  The worlds ability to cooperate is becomingly increasingly important.  New and old challenges have gone unmet.  Africa is in despair, economies in America are losing jobs.  Natural and man made disasters would be well dealt with through Algorithms or money targeted at fixing the problems.   Personal responsibility to meet challenges of the world is higher than originally estimated by society.  Environmental damage threatens are entire ecosystem.   When an ecosystem breaks down it often leads to the complete destruction of the entire ecosystem.

The ability of a society to ensure people are safe, happy, and not destructive is a major challenge of the future.  Some populations are growing with no concern for the effects on the world   Dealing with problems by employing available resources is part of the solution.   Developing innovative and technological sensible ways in addition to all the great work so many people are doing is needed to deal with these problems

 Algorithm:

1.  Run algorithims through the entire world economy to most appropriately meet needs and wants while improving accountability. With a stated goal of maximizing functioning, appropriate influence, sustainability, and faith in the world to meet challenges.

 2. Focus on improving technology and sharing technology to meet needs and provide opportunities

 3. Pay profits to reduce waste and recognize past contributions to society.  Reducing the reliance on arcaic strategies that are often are oppressive and inappropriate.  Improve business leaders ability to pass along benefits to customers without an exclusive focus on profits.

 4. Pay checks to people to remain idle resources ready to employ if needed

 5. Fight Fraud, and let people know that we will forgive; but, it is not ok for people to inappropriate hurt others.

 6. Provide Education

 7. Reduce debts of nations through negotiations and shared benefits of working together

 8. Eliminate trade barriers that are often oppressive

 9. Employ people universally to meet security needs, and protect freedoms of communities

10. Adjust policy by principles of doing more with less employing technology and innovation

11. Provide funding for opportunities in recreational activities

12.  Feed the hungry and help them meet basic standards

13. Encourage participation in the economy through friendly policies like reducing taxes.

Getting important on ideas on ballot initiatives seems like a good way to combat, identify, isolate, and solve problems in our communities.  Problems in our world.  Get in touch with local leaders to learn more about view points, and positive solutions.   Most of the good ideas have been created, and our in use in communities around the nation.  It is very important for communities, and people to share information.
Children in the United States were target 1.6 billion advertising dollars dedicated to food products advertising in 2007.   The federal trade commission has made suggestions to deal with problems associated with unhealthy, and inappropriate advertising targeting children.

Excerpt from Yahoo news below 7/29/2008 —

The FTC made several recommendations as part of its report to stop marketing junk food to kids:

–Media and entertainment companies should limit the licensing of characters to healthier foods and drinks.

–Schools should adopt meaningful nutrition standards for the foods that are sold there, and companies should cease all in-school promotion of products that don’t meet such standards.

–Companies that market food and drinks to children should expand public-outreach efforts to educate children about the importance of healthy eating and exercise, with particular attention aimed at minority populations that are disproportionately affected by childhood obesity.

The commission noted that its review came during a year in which food and beverage companies had committed to curtailing the marketing of unhealthy products. For example, it noted that 13 companies representing more than two-thirds of advertising spending directed toward children had pledged to not direct their ads to children under 12 — unless the foods met specific nutritional standards.

Animal Rights need to be included on all state ballots in 2008!!

Various people, and entities have long worked to help animals that are abused by farmers.  Topstockblog asks thoughtful readers to make sure Animal rights initiatives that promote a healthy economy are included in this years elections. Recent footage has brought ballot initiatives banning conditions of abuse in California including.  Below is an excerpt of important information taking from Yahoo news article “Farm animals law would require room to roam.” This fall, California voters will consider the most comprehensive farm animal rights law in the country, a measure that would ban cramped metal cages for egg-laying hens, metal gestation crates for pregnant sows and veal crates for calves — standard industry practices in which the animals are kept so confined that they can barely move.

The initiative follows more limited measures recently passed in several other states.

Earlier this year, the Colorado Legislature became the first in the nation to prohibit the use of gestation crates for pregnant pigs and veal crates for calves. In the last three years, Florida and Oregon voters have banned gestation crates and Arizona voters banned both gestation crates and veal crates.

A showdown between proponents and opponents of the California measure, initiated by the Humane Society of the United States, looms. While California’s pork and veal farming is small, the egg industry, the fifth largest in the country, is preparing an all-out campaign to defeat the measure.

The United Egg Producers and the Pacific Egg & Poultry Association say the measure would threaten the health of hens and eggs, since hens allowed to roam free might contract avian diseases from exposure to the outside or their own droppings. Moreover, the cost would be so prohibitive it would force an end to the egg industry in California as of 2015, when the initiative would go into effect, the group says.

“The measure jeopardizes our food safety and public health, putting us at greater risk for salmonella and avian flu outbreaks; cuts off consumer choice for safe, local, fresh and affordable California eggs; and drives up the cost of basic groceries at a time when Californians are already struggling with high gas, housing and other everyday living expenses,” said Julie Buckner, a spokeswoman for Californians for SAFE Food, a group created by the egg industry to oppose the initiative.

But proponents of cage-free hens are banking on momentum. The initiative boasts a long list of endorsements, from the California Democratic Party to the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Proponents also are bolstered by an independent report by The Pew Commission on Industrial Farm Animal Production. For humane reasons, the report recommended several changes in the way animals are raised for food in the United States, including the phasing out of so-called battery cages that keep the hens cramped.

New Formula saving millions in Africa – Plumpy Nut

That’s right a new to the market formula Plumpy Nut, a creation by  Doctors With Out Borders consisting of peanut butter, dried milk, and vitamins is helping millions of children in Africa survive, and even escape malnutrition.    60 minutes recently did a special on the topic.

Maybe these types of foods can be shared withother nations that fall short of food production targets or even supplied to deal with hunger issues ahead of time.  Famines a condition of large proportion where masses of people are unable to meet food needs and in extreme cases, numbering in the millions of Deaths each year to date. July 27th 2008 the year of our lord.   Famine or starvation is and has been a devastating force throughout history.  Modern innovations and technology gains have the potential to reduce hunger and achieve population targets that support sustainability and a growing concern for public responsibility to meet short falls.   Fighting crimes and using good judgement to protect personal rights, human rights and sustainable ecosystem understanding + environmental dangers will serve to move the world in a positive direction.

Dear Presidents George W. Bush, Hugo Chavez and Dmitry Medvedev,

As a thoughtful citizen of the United States I send a warm message.   Sincere concern for past trickery used by business men to influence world leaders that has led to much suffering.  Much of this suffering was a necessary   In economic terms wars are profitable because of the high stakes of cooperation for the winner versus .  The United States government owes honest Russians’ an appology for secretly supplying what is know known as the Taliban in some cases funds for war in the Russian v.s. Afganistan war of the 1980’s.

The United States owes past communist leaders any unthoughtful actions that have caused suffering, and loss of life in your great nations.  I appoligize for policies designed to isolate and ensure failure of solcialist governments.

The world owes George W. Bush an appology for policies that bring the world to the tipping point where legislative and enforceable policies can be implemented.   Helping people learn of our personal responsibility to help the world deal with problems.  To support policies that protect human rights, provide education, support careful judgement.   Principles of technolgy like doing more with less and reducing our environmental impact while allowing consequential benefits like increased free time.

Legislation can continue to support human benefit and recognize more intrinsic contributions by past contributions.  Good deeds shall not go unreckognized in the long run.    Education clearly benefits people around the world alike.  Yet, With technology one person can do the job of thousands and new accounting rules are needed to achieve this out come with out hurting those displaced by increases in productivity.

Account for those who have tresspassed against us through accounting.  Accounting can take make forms, and should reflect reasonable accounting.  For example a person who commits kills others in  is made by those who have trespassed against us.   Settle differences, and positively influence the future.   Educate, Influence, and share in the increased inovations of the past, and future.  Enforce and create world policies that support public, and private benefits.   Sccessful world economies are accountable, educated, entertaining, moral, secure, and  continue to adapt to meet challenges.  Moving forward with past world agreements, carefully restating those past world agreements established after wars from the past may be helpful.  Creating new agreements with much consideration to positively influence the world.

Intrinsic benefits of cooperation are accountable, measurable, and enforcable.  This is evident from past contributions of people from the past.      If enough people believe something it is acceptable.  Work towards policy that makes evolutionary sense with our growing understanding of responsibility and lifes beauty.  Public service is a good idea.

Many communities can increase the accountibility of budgets more effectively with community volunteers.  Keeping communites safe as margins decline across industries at different rates appropriately as technology allows society to do more with less.   Less effort, lower input, higher standards, and increased understanding.  Increased public service can come in many forms.  Savings for instance and protection of the environment serve to protect future generations.   Money can be uniformly pumped back into projects that increase environmental health, and sustainability  The loss of the world’s future can be measured more accurately with new legislations of cooperation and profits for increased sustainability and benefits of cooperation when carefully measured.  Serving to achieve the known benefits of accounting, careful communication, compromise, clean air, edcuation, good will, family, free choice, friendship, food, happiness, hard work, hope, peace, personal responsibility, realistic expectations, security, and understanding.  Legislation that Warms public sentiment would have a great impact on the future.

Our nations can pay profits in the form of rebates for savings of economies of scale, shared assets, wealth creation, capablities, sustainability,  long term benefit, minimum standards, and stated intrinsic values.  Intrinsic payments is a logical part of achievable innovation of capitalism.   The benefit to the future of savings achieved by cooperation can not be measured as currently structured.   in unrepairable environment damage, positive values, minimum standards, individual concern,  production costs,  unnecessary suffering, shipping, waste, , security, and happiness despite owners of oil reserves for not producing.  The United Nations can possible grow or new agencies can be created.  To work towards policies that keep the world safe, inspire happiness, and make life a little easier for all.  Innovation written with concern for all and the environment.  Accounting for all known mistakes and avoiding future problems.  Offering forgiveness.   Enforcing policies with human rights, respect, and shared benefit in mind to all people in the world.

The United States along with strong people like yourselves hold great influence.   We share environmental concern, economic success, military security, business, and 100’s of millions of wonderful people.   Russia, United States, and Venezuela must work together to guarantee the bright future of our nations.

The United States is immediately in need of Russian military support in Afganistan.  Many lives will be saved with the benefit of Russia’s experience fighting in Afganistan.  We need to share world military responsibility.  If enough people believe something that supports evolution it can become fact.  A new supportive policy will help to build benefits delivered to society.   Restatement of old aggreements can be of great benefit to the future and present world environment.   Our cultures share so many common values.

Government letter on need for action to deal with dead zones in bodies of water

Dear Senator,
Dead zones in bodies of water around the world are multiplying and in some cases exponentialy this year, and must be addressed immediately.  Algae is a driving force of dead zones attacking the oxygen in the water, and consequently destroying the ecosystem that has thrived for thousands of years.  This is in part caused by the run off of sulfate found in fertilizers that Algae thrives in.  Sulfate runs off into bodies of water like the Missippi river and ends up in the Gulf of Mexico.  Simple treatment with microbes a naturally occurring organism that attacks algae. I believe can greatly reduce the dead zones and prevent the occurrence of dead zones in an environmentally friendly way.  Combined with carbon farming techniques used in Iowa can significantly reduce known negative consequences. I found a website that sells products to help with the cleaning bodies of water. http://pondsolutions.com/aquariumpharmaceuticals.htm#BioClean

A military statement says the man uploads to the Web images and video of attacks on Iraqi and U.S.-led forces. The information is allegedly used to raise money and other kinds of support from Iranian backers.

The suspect was arrested Monday in Baghdad.

This is an act of war against the Iraqi, and American people alike, additionally all other coalition partners. Hezbollah and Iran have crossed a line that can only be repaired with sincere actions.  Iran is engaging in stall tactics preparing for war.  These acts of terrorism should not be tolerated and justify severe military action.

Small cap play GV. + Hurricane Stocks link from TheStreet.com

GV is an electrical/construction stock worth looking twice at for penny stock players. Particularly going into huricane season trading at or near the 52 week low. Having watched GV management for the past couple of years. Topstockblog is impressed with the quality of managements decisions. Including the landing electrical installation contracts around the nation. A market the company has been looking to break into for a while.
Recent productivity gains at GV are expecting to contribute to profits in the future. Along with other planned efficiencies gained from economies of scale at the corporation grows.
GV has completed condo units that are for sale. The development is over 50% sold and management see the condo’s as an asset in coming quarters.
The appetite for Hurricane stocks should be gearing up a little later than usual because of the recession; but, could come to life if a hurricane comes through the United States sometime in the next six months.  In fact, if several hurricanes hit or the company has gets taken over the premium could e several times the current price of around 50 cents.

Another small capitilaztion stock Topstockblog thinks could be a good investment, or trade is CGR a canadian resource play. Buying CGR.TO as an American gives a way to buy into the Canadian currency that has potential to continue to appreciate against the dollar because of it’s abundance of natural resources. Stocks traded on the Toronto Exchange are traded in Canandian dollars.

The Street.com recently highlighted stocks worth looking at that may do well in a busy hurricane season for a trade. The downside of a hurricane stock play is, if no hurricane materializes the stock may lose value with more sellers than buyers.

Being a good person will help you keep your job. + Republican senator loses presidential campaign post for calling America a nation of whiners.

Being a nice person was the point that stands out in a John Tesh radio broadcast offering helpful tips on dieting, and life skill development.  Eating an apple 5 minutes before a meal or other healthy appetizer will help your diet results. A  regular planned snack at night was also shown to help your diet in a study.

John also talked about what empoyers and co-workers look for in other employees.  Likeability was high on the list.   If you do a good job; but, are a jerk.  You better change your tactics and try to be a nice person.  Employers and co-workers favor pleasant co- workers.  Even if they have less skills.   Make three friends at work, and you are almost certain to enjoy your job. John Tesh Radio Show.

“America is a bunch of whiners that puts the nation in a mental recesion. ” by Texas Senator  (R) Phil Gramm. Caused the senator to lose his job as campain co-manager for John Mcain presidential campaign. Reality of negative viewpoints, policy, and comments like these are worth observing. John Mcain is a bit out of touch with the world, and probably not capable of doing a good job. I hope that , and what they call the brain of the operation is a lack of touch with suffering of people around the world.

Is gambling fun or a problem for society?

Bush's Social Security Gamble

About.com originally found

Is gambling fun or a problem for society?  That depends.  Too much of anything is a bad thing.  So Gambling should be done only occasionally to be really fun. Particularly for those inexperienced with gambling.  Gambling can be fun; but, addictive and innappropriate for some people.  I enjoy gambling very much. Gambling of all sorts can be entertaining.  National Council on Problem gambling website  helps connect people who want or even suspect they may need help with gambling.

When gambling takes place with a low take out, and gamblers move their money through the system with a positive experience while tax revenue is collected.  Gambling is an asset to the communities bringing in billions of dollars ever year in taxes.  Money spent in casino’s and race tracks around the world goes through the economy many times quickly.  More times than a normal dollar because the same dollar is repeatedly wagered giving action and happiness to people that would not be created otherwise.

A Gamble should have near a zero positive or negative expectation to be truly fun.  In poker they call this pot odds.  Make sure the pot is offering you near the odds of you winning the pot or better odds. When you are going to make a bet the odds should be remotley fair for gambling to be fun.   In LasVegas, Nevda Casinos typically return more of the money to the customer to offer customers the most value for the money. At many Racetracks, and casinos the takes outs are very high, and can not be beaten most of the time.   Sports gambling can be a lot of fun in places it is legal and add an extra bit of excitement to the game.  Low take outs should be looked for and encouraged.

The Poker Player Alliance website serves to represent poker players in congress with congressman Robert Wexler leading the cause to get on-line poker legalized. Regulation is needed. Poker is a game of skill when taking all the possible know variables into account when making decisions.  Start with good cards is a good way to play.  Be careful not to be too predictable, and remember the later your position the easier it will be to make good decisions getting to act after you have seen what the other players do.

If you gamble frequently you should look into gambling rebates, bonus, gifts, and other available rebate programs to give you that edge you need to have a legitimate chance to be near break even.   Horse tracks offer legal gambling in many states over the internet. Bet small, and spread your money out is a good way to have fun, and manage your risk. Place and show bets are often bad bets because the track takes a higher breakage percentage. Getting a rebate or free stuff for gambling can be a way to get closer to a break even expectation gambling, and maybe even making a few bucks gambling .

Try to position your bets with a positive expectation.  Get a favorable odds when wagering versus what you expect to get back when I win. Realizing you will lose many bets. Winning and losing is part of gambling. Keeping a balance in life builds good karma. Balance is more easily achieve for some than others.
Take your time to learn any game well if you want it to be more than fun. reality that falls far from perfect to over come. After years of counseling I am a tough gambler not carrying all of my old baggage. Experience takes time to build, and we all have lots of time.

Regulation ofr on-line at poker, and video gambling sites would be helpful. Many sites will take your money and not return it. Horse racing is legal to bet online.

Some people, cultures, governments, and religions do not speak highly of gambling or out right ban gambling.  Truth be told through my eyes is anything that entertains, adds value to peoples lives, and has no victims is not a crime.  Gambling does pose a significan amount of risk for some. Regulation, and access to needed help is effective along with lifes lesson. Most of the time people should not gamble because they will lose their money.  On a positive note you can spend a nice afternoon, and or evening gambling at a casino, horse track, from your computer, or with friends from time to time for entertainment.
When I gamble I like to bet on horse races.  Horse races have been a part of my life since I was a kid.  I live in a town with two horse tracks.  Lived in Vegas twice.   When visiting stay on the main strip ( I recommend the MGM or Hooters is a less expensive hotel and still centrally located) and be careful not to venture to far off the strip.

UBS Bank, Liechenstein aided U.S. citizens to hide 100’s of billions of dollars from the U.S government

A disgruntled engineer working at UBS Bank sold the names of all Americans with Bank accounts in the UBS Bank located in Liechtenstein.  UBS was reported on NBC world to have committed material crimes, and may lose it’s U.S. license as a result.  The United States Senate is holding hearings accusing UBS, Liceinstein of aiding the tax cheats. Compounding this problem with other commercial papers it sold to investors that U.B.S has stopped honoring because of large losses in the value of these packaged securities.

UBS stock looks to be headed towards zero from my perspective or at least over valued.  Wall street journal said late July 16th, 2008 that the U.S has lost $100 billion to offshore tax evasion.  A major source of revenue selling packaged securities to investors is largely dead, and UBS has begun lowering values of paper issued and not honoring the paper as it had previously.  Banks are particularly vulnerable to shut down because they lend several times the amount of money they collect in the form of loans.  Usually in the neighbor hood of 10% of assets are to be held against a banks portfolio.  When a bank commits fraud. Large and small investors usually redeem deposits creating an exponential problem for UBS Bank in this case.

‘Ali asked the Prophet

‘Ali asked the Prophet one day about the principles governing his general behaviour, and he replied, “knowledge is my capital, reason is the basis of my religion, love is my foundation, desire is my mount for riding, remembrance of God is my comrade, confidence is my treasure, anxiety is my companion, science is my arm, patience is my mantle, contentment is my booty, modesty is my pride, renunciation of pleasure is my profession, certitude is my food, truth is my intercessor, obedience is my sufficiency, struggle is my attitude and the delight of my heart is in the service of worship.””

was asked the question today.  The Prophet’s would have to respond to a new world.  His answers may have some variation.  Today’s society is much different than during his time.  Maybe, the Prophet would emphasize careful communication, honesty, peace, technology, understanding, security, sports, human rights, stock markets, good judgement, and environmentally friendly solutions.

Topstockblog is dedicated to helping the world reach thoughtful solutions to these problems. Topstockblog has put some study into becoming a prophet, and learned a great deal about Jesus, and Muhammad in the process.  Jesus words were written in the bible after his death interpreted by religious scholars.   Muhammad was more directly involved in the writings of the Quran.  As such he has a large audience of followers.   Topstockblog  hopes to help the world.  In doing so he is prepared to pay.

Blending languages could be good for the world economy

Mixing languages to form or use common words between languages is a good idea. Different languages like English, and Chinese could find common words to use for proper nouns, verbs, and the like. To be mixed. Spanish and English. French and English. If more people could communicate around the world. A reduction in both redundancy, waste, mistakes, and shared experience would help the wolrd achieve it’s economic, social, and environmental potential.
Connecting in the odd sort of way all languauges work. With careful attention to detail, and a blending of words like Pepsi. Proper nouns, verbs, and other important words can retain their sound, and word.
As the world works to find peace, and security for the future. Practical answers can be found.  Enhancing communication of people around the world with a common interest could create trillions of dollars of wealth, savings, and benefit around the world.  People should be able to communicate around the world.

Oil money will continue to flow west as predicted by George W. Bush

George W. Bush indirectly or directly went into Iraq to protect American business interests.  Iraq just opened bidding on oil production  for short term oil production.  Congratulations to the people of Iraq in moving the hard way towards good judgement as a nation. The money from Oil will help the Iraqi people financially.  Helping the people of Iraq do better financially and long term will help America make friends with Iraq in my opinion. The short run bid action is expected to give a major longer term advantage to big Western + European oil.  Iraq is already dealing with major corporations that are based in the United States.  Iraq is expected to double oil production by 2013. With Exxon, BP, and maybe even Haliburten getting a piece of the money along with over 35 others corporations from around the world.

In other news Iraq’i people are suing corporations who paid Iraq kickbacks, pharmaceutical company, and Australian exporter to get damages for millions of dollars paid in kick backs in the oil for food programs.  Violence is down in the middle east, and expected decline further as peaceful Iraqi people take control in a moderate way.

I compare this to United States politicians being elected or fired by a responsible electoral voting public.   A voting United States public that will full fill it’s responsibility to live in a sustainable world that is responsible, and successful. Blogging on the Internet continues to fill voids where honest information can solve, and prevent real world problems

This could dent oil prices in the short run, and be very volatile over the remainder of the year responding to actual events in real time. This should build confidence in stocks; Iraqi currency, and the United States dollar. Weakness could materialize in all types of commodities as Iraq achieves mile stones in production, and an over supply of Oil could develop.

I do not give blind justice to leaders, and hope lawsuits force corporations to act thoughtfully towards people, and the environment.   Lawsuits are being filed against private contractors who tortured prisoned inmates inside Iraq. I support peace, careful communiction, sustainability, understanding, and the good judgement required to get there.
