Mixing languages to form or use common words between languages is a good idea. Different languages like English, and Chinese could find common words to use for proper nouns, verbs, and the like. To be mixed. Spanish and English. French and English. If more people could communicate around the world. A reduction in both redundancy, waste, mistakes, and shared experience would help the wolrd achieve it’s economic, social, and environmental potential.
Connecting in the odd sort of way all languauges work. With careful attention to detail, and a blending of words like Pepsi. Proper nouns, verbs, and other important words can retain their sound, and word.

Iraq just opened bidding on oil production  for short term oil production.  Congratulations to the people of Iraq in moving the hard way towards good judgement as a nation. The money from Oil will help the Iraqi people financially.  Helping the people of Iraq do better financially and long term will help America make friends with Iraq in my opinion. The short run bid action is expected to give a major longer term advantage to big Western + European oil.  Iraq is already dealing with major corporations that are based in the United States.  Iraq is expected to double oil production by 2013. With Exxon, BP, and maybe even king HAL will get a piece with 35 corporations from around the world expected to partner with Iraq.

In other news Iraq’i people are suing corporations who paid Iraq kickbacks, pharmaceutical company, and Australian exporter to get damages for millions of dollars paid in kick backs in the oil for food programs.  Violence is down in the middle east, and expected decline further as peaceful Iraqi people take control in a moderate way. 

I compare this to United States politicians be forced to own up to a responsible electoral voting public.   A voting United States public that will full fill it’s responsibility to live in a sustainable world that is responsible, and successful. Blogging on the Internet continues to fill voids where honest information can solve, and prevent real world problems

This could dent oil prices in the short run, and be very volatile over the remainder of the year responding to actual events in real time. This should build confidence in stocks; Iraqi currency, and the United States dollar. Weakness could materialize in all types of commodities as Iraq achieves mile stones in production, and an over supply of could develop.

I do not give blind justice to leaders, and hope lawsuits force corporations to act thoughtfully towards people, and the environment.   Lawsuits are being filed against private contractors who tortured prisoned inmates inside Iraq. I support peace, careful communiction, sustainability, understanding, and the good judgement required to get there.

Many small contractors in remodeling, plumbing, roofing, painting, and other related fields can come up short of expectations. in fancy big trucks took money, and did not complete the work or attempt to do the work. Many others were guilty of everything from not being licensed to doing drugs on the job. Many small contractors do really good work. It is those with bad intentions or just a large amount of ignorance.   Many small contractors do not complete the task.  Some small contractors can be in-experienced, learning on the job, and even under the influence of drugs. Problems also included over budget expeditures, lack of quality in the work. References can even be made up or false.
On the other side of the coin the person offering the job may not be upfront about the work. May not be upfront with payment. .

     Opinions are floating around the world on the issue of dealing with the nuclear ambition of Iran.  The issue is partly about nuclear weapons.  The more relavant conflict is about Iran’s hate and lack of tolerance towards other cultures.  Iran’s uses it’s diplomacy skillfully , and with logic to gain access to nuclear power.  The threat is more Iran could someday use it’s military power for religous extremism, and political domination of the Middle East.   Possible the world?  Should the world do nothing as Iran pursues nuclear power in a likely cover for nuclear weapons?    The Iranian regime is elected by the popular majority of people in Iran.  The Iranian population has long supported a culture that hates others and opposes free will.   In my opinion the Iranian state should be wiped out as long as it’s goals likely include evil intentions towards other cultures.  Iranian citizens must logically pay the ultimate price for their commitment to hate, and violations of human rights.   The Iranian religous leader Ali Khamenei  is resolute in his opposition to human rights, the United States, and Israel.  He sponsored the killing of thousands of Iranians in the 1980’s and was part of the war against Iraq.    The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad  has made public statements committing Iran to wiping the state of Israel off the face of the map.  To largely cheering Iranians burning American, and Israel flags alike.   Iran has a strong influence in the middle east region and some bad intentions.  I was strongly against the Iraq war from the beginning.  However, Iran is a long standing threat to civilization.   Iran should embrace freedom of choices, education, sustainability, peace, and moving forward with evolution.

     Iran has been behind the killing of thousands of people inside Iraq of all nations alike.   Iran is prepared and committed to striking back against an attack on it’s nuclear and military facilities.  Here is a link from the Christian Science Monitor on  How Iran would retaliate if it comes to war.

 Careful communication could solve problems most effectively. This blog post is intended to share a reasonable perspective on the problem, implications, and path forward to solving the problem.   I do not approve of all the actions of any nation, and denounce many acts from the past.  Israel, Iran, and the United States have acting inappropriately at times in the past.  Forgiveness is part of the solution.  Until we have understanding; forgiveness is not on the bartering table.   I support democracy, peace, compromise, and forgiveness.  The protection of human rights, and  promoting a healthy planet is of  great importance to the world. 

  Nations from around the world like China, England, Israel, Iraq, Russia, U.S.A,  Saudi Arabia and dozens of other nations should join to launch a massive nuclear strike on Iran in the near future if they do not immediately change course.  Weakening Iran to a point of absolute defeat.  A minor attack on Iran or ignoring the violent intentions of Iran would likely cause more problems in the long run from my observation and understanding of the problem.

The United States Stock market could tank Monday with follow through selling going on.  Hedge funds are closing.  Retirees are looking to relax.   I just don’t think life can be that easy for retirees.   I see foriegn nations like China, and Venezuela diversifying into other currencies that have higher rates of inflation.  That is a macro economic force that has potential to be disruptive.   Heavy buying in Oil as a hedge against weakness elsewhere is sure to continue.   I read a report last summer saying some mutual funds and other hedge funds had not honored redemption requests from large institutions because of market pressures.  Sure, they were right the market headed lower.  Will the market be higher, next year.   Other than Japan putting forward a car design that runs on sea water.

Interest rates have risen to well over 6%, and inflation is almost sure to continue. Inflation is where you expect to pay more for goods because of conditions like higher bills, high oil prices, profiteers looking to make piles of lute, and the continued expectation. Not, too mention alot of debt in the market would be erased. Even accrued assets can be devalued through inflation.

If some nation starts a war tomorrow maybe we can get to a bottom. Other wise I suspect any bottom set may be short lived if Oil continues to head towards $200 a barrel without a serious technology moving forward along with cooperation around the world.

With, Israel and Iran flexing their muscles in preparation for the oncoming war.  What do they really hope will come from the war without respect.  That is a dark answer of death.  Israel conducting a military show of force excercise over the Mediterranean Ocean.  Following war excercises by Iran early this year.  Including boarding a boat in the International waters without proper cause.   Launching long range torpedos to blow up practice targets.  The increased speed of Uranium Enrichment.   A little respect and understanding towards one another could go along way toward solving the problems.

   Prairie Meadows is a non-profit  horse race and casino organization operating in the state of Iowa since 1989.  A public service the corporation offers is grant funding for other non-profit 501C registered corporation who look to add value between $5,000 and $25,000.  It is a competive grant with limitations on funding.  Providing needed funding to generate benefit around the state of Iowa.  I just wanted to share my admiration for the creativity and social purpose of this corporation.  Hoping to promote entertainment through horse racing, and casino slot machines.   Non-profit is a direction worth looking into.

Republish + Update 6/16/2008.   Good stock post covering many stocks with good notes to reflect on for stock traders who focus on BA, GD, INTC, CRM, QQQQ, XL,  YGE, UA,

UA shorting idea worked well.  UA took a big dive this week as its growth expectations                   (Saturday January 19th,  200

  ran into a recession.   Trade was a Cramer idea from a few weeks ago, moved with the market trend, preannounced a tough first half next year.

INTC long trade ahead of earnings was a big mistake, entered $23.15 currently at $19 exited near open at $20.   An options straddle trade both long and short the immediate earnings options would have worked.  The stock rallied on IBM’s positive pre-earnings Monday.  I rationalized with INTC having 90% of it’s earnings over-sea’s the stocks current and future earnings would have exceeded expectations.  In hinde site I gather the wide and competive coverage on the INTC the positive effect of the weak dollar had already been priced in by analysts’.   Increased doubts going forward  due to possible economic slowing around the globe caused selling leading to a lower share price .

I shorted CRM last week, and again this week.   I shorted on a mention by Cramer about the stock possible being overpriced.  Cramer from Mad Money mentioned how he thought if the stock showed any signs of slowing at earnings the stock would get taken down big. The trade off his coments did not work the first time without perfect execution.  The market did offer a tiny window to execute the trade profitable.   I  then re-entered the trade Friday as the stock was selling off when the market opened higher.  I am hoping the street is ready to take this one down. Earning should be out sometime mid February.  (exited trade near even, Company sells hope and some people like the stock here  1/23/0

I entered into a short trade on XL late Friday.  I am around even on the trade so far.  I saw a lot of selling going on in the stock and for good reasons.  Two directors stepped down last month, and  moodies placed some of its CPDO’s fund in junk status.  The fund is a complicated derivatives trade that allowed XL to offer insurance coverage on corporate debt staying top investment grade.  Junk status indicates to me that people are likely to not get paid.  I assume these people will be paid before common shareholders. A lot of selling has gone on these past two trading days. I hope I am not too late to the party.  (rate cut will help the company find balance 1/23/08 update)

YGE long trade I backed out of quickly because the stock just became weaker.  I did exit on a bounce that softened the blow.   I’m not sure if first quarter earnings are going to be up to par; but, sure long term the company is a big winner with top technology. I think the stock currnetly priced around $25 is a good for a long trade.  Timing of the entry is what I am trying to do well provided $24 and change on Friday may have been the best spot to get in. Only time will tell .     (long trade on at $23 hoping for a big rally updated 1/23/08 3pm)

 QQQQ appears to be stabilizing as the semiconductors are acting strong.  A long trade may be called for before another shorting opportunity arises here.    (wish I had more money I would buy some 1/23/08 3pm update)

Shorting war related stocks (LMT BA, NOC, GD, COL, ATK,) posted 12pm  Thursday 1/17 /08  ***The trade is up about 1-2%. Anyone in the previous week was up 5%-10%.  All but one of the stocks is below the 20,50, and 200 day moving averages.   I was hoping ATK was a good opportunity to short.  I found a few reasons on both sides; but staying bearish on the side line because the war stocks are below the 50 and 200 day moving average.  Stocks can trend for a while.  Istill think the United states is in a bearish cycle.  The decline of activity in Iraq could slow propects for future war equipment sales.   ATK was put on credit watch negative by Fitch recently.  A stock offering posible in the works stated http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080109/alliant_techsystems_ratings.html?.v=1.   debt levels are high to meet needs to buy an information systems and aerospace business unit for 1.31 billion dollars.  http://www.reuters.com/article/tnBasicIndustries-SP/idUSN0825031520080109    The stock is oversold short term.  The deal is flat on already strong earnings for 2008, and accretive in 2009 provided no unforseen cutbacks by the government. Statistics on events in life are occuring as we speak.  All events have a probality of occuring in the future.  Measuring events that occur in the future, is mearsurable through statisitcs.   Horse racing is a fun sport; but, without the use of measuring risk you will go broke. Even, if you win betting on large fields you will still experience too much stress.   Horse racing is a fun sport betting on smaller fields!  Texas Holdem is another fun sport that measures statistics, luck, and probality to attempt to earn profits.

(5/29/200 RTHindex looks like a great short on the bounce higher.  The retailers look to be in trouble with consumers tapped out.  The RTH has alot of stability being an index and offering a small dividend. WMT being the largest stock in the index. RTH appears to be range bound and can be sold when over bought, and bought when over sold

Waste should be reduced.

 Observation plays a large role in my belief that waste should be reduced.  Books, courses, experience, and research all influence my view point.  For most people problems of waste are of little importance and can be pushed to the sides.   Waste of of food, natural resources, and garbage can be reduced more.  Environmental damage needs to be reduced by human impact.  is the biproduct of humans being put on the side for someone else to deal with.  Alot of waste goes on.  Cool people don’t waste all the time.   Dealing with waste problems early is a good idea in my opinion.   Every one has a different view point.    On the fringes of the worlds serious waste problems should be dealt with.  Every one has their role to play in reducing waste.

A little sun light on how the U.S senate refuse to discuss taking away Oil corporations tax breaks on record profits while Americans suffer is a reason to be concerned.   The senate also failed to discuss tax cuts that are going to expire for renewable energy programs.  Naturally I am pro tax hikes on Oil Corporations and Pro tax cuts on renewable energy that will help our country and the world deal with both economic and environmental concerns.  In fairness many democrats are pro tax hikes on oil and pro tax cuts on renewable energy programs.

 A loss of access to energy and too much burning of oil is probably the biggest danger to the world as we know it and future generations.  So talking about this problem and bringing sunlight to the United States Senators opposed to talking about Oil tax breaks of 17 billion dollars over the next ten years, and cutting renewable tax breaks is a mistake.  Inappropriate influence of Oil Cartels, Large Military powers (yes us), lies, and bad decisions made by people in power must have sunlight be brought to them.  A little sun light will help prevent these problems in the future.  All these events have the potential to destroy lives.  It’s just a matter of how risk is tolerated, and how well it is found to be controllable.

Blogging has given me an opportunity to spend my time more equally.  I read the market was over sold on the Kirk Report (highly recomend joining for a donation of $50 a year and decided to do some hunting for stocks that look interesting here.  Oil gets more dicey as the price moves higher; but, I imagine that will continue as supply is tight, and not alot of plans in the works to change that.  With out doing to much research with a real short perspective I like RTH, QQQQ, and AUY. With a longer perspective I would still play any stocks in my buy list that fall within my buy signals for my 50 DMVA system.  I found a new stock I will add to my watch list AEHR a technology play with growth opportunities over the next six months.

Not for profit business is a good solution for the future. Many successful business’s work under more honorable interests than for profit business. In principle because the often act to help the less fotunate, the environment, and for the purpose of achieving some benefit for the world.
I purchased a car from a charity auto sales lot and had a positive experience. The car was well taken care of and the charity being represented was rare tigers. Under the laws of the business I think it was 70 percent of the sale amount went to the charity, and the remaining amount went towards expenses of operating the car lot; including compensation for those working at the dealership.

Fraud is a big concern of myself and just a reminder to be considerate of others when doing business. The government has more information on operating a non-profit business and how to protect yourself from fraud. With some reaserch, and education I believe may try to set up a non-profit business.

1. Think about a mission statement
2. Ask yourself does this business really help other people? How can I improve upon this idea?
3. Do lots of research.
4. Find a cause you want to support and will work with you.
5. Be persistent in achieving your goals.

CMED a Chinese Medical devicecorporation missed earnings in early March 2008, and caught many buyers long the stock.  The high multiple that had been placed on CMED stock was no longer valid because CMED had now disappointed the market missing earnings.  This created an opportunity to short sell CMED.  The trade worked and now CMED has entered into a period of stagnation.  Stocks can remain in stagnation for weeks, months, and even years.

 Earnings June 12, 2008 will likely give CMED direction.   The Motley Fool Community, and its publishers still have a very bullish view on CMED http://us.rd.yahoo.com/finance/external/mfool/SIG=12k0oq961/*http://www.fool.com/investing/high-growth/2008/04/24/5-more-top-growth-stocks.aspx?source=eptyholnk303100&logvisit=y&npu=y&published=2008-04-24.  I know in the last earnings costs associated with events in China caused the CMED some problems.  I imagine the recent earth quakes, and generally tempid environment of China could cause another short fall in earnings. 

      CMED  no longer deserves a large earnings to price multiple because the medical device market is showing earnings are fragile, and can be missed.    Seperate financial trading results from ideals and preferences.  I am watching CMED as a stock I have blogged about and looking to see how it may move in the future.

The  U.S. stock market crashed nearly 400 points today http://www.yahoo.com/s/895280  (Friday June 6th. 2008).   The largest increase in jobless claims increase in 22 years, and oil per barrel rising $10 in a single day.  Given the large amount of the increase in oil today, and over the last year oil is probably going much higher.

The stock market was up 200 points yesterday.  Some people had become more bullish on the market going forward with Carl Ichann a major investor reiterating his wish to sell yahoo at a premium of $32.  Interestingly Carl seemed to think $32 was a fair price in part because of the effects of inflation in the future making the premium of $32 a fair price.  Some investors jumped at his latest comments that sent the market up 200 points were now caught long.  The market always is challenging.  Historically the market is very volatile with inflation in the water.

 The Kirk report http://www.thekirkreport.com/    talks about the likely hood of further weakness.  The bottom that many hoped was set in March is probably not the bottom.   With so much trouble in the world and major support being broken putting big doubts in the theory.     I expect more investors piling into oil and out of stocks Monday.  I think the low could be set Monday if the sell off is big enough or some time in the next couple of weeks.
